I’ll try to simplify this for you. If someone has a peepee the sex is male. If it doesn’t, the sex is female (barring outlies of both or neither).

If someone wears “men’s” clothing, and has a “male” haircut" and behaves in a “masculine” way, the gender is male. Notice there is no physical characteristic listed here. Likewise for “women’s” clothing, “female” haircut, and “feminine” behavior.

This is not new, it is as old as the concept of “gender”. What is new for our society is the idea that gender is not necessarily directly tied to sex, as it often has been for a long time.

Notice historically, that while the sex characteristics don’t change over time, (male sex in ancient egypt still had external reproductive organs and female sex didn’t), the gender characteristics do move. At different times and places clothing and hairstyles that we might think of as “male” or “female” were actually typically of the other gender (skirts in Ancient Egypt, kilts in Scotland, long hair in many cultures and times as some examples).

I seen this a lot of time, especially from uneducated people. But some people think trans and gay are the same thing. :clown_face: When in reality, trans is just what gender you identify with, it has nothing to do with sexuality.

I really don’t want to get into this because anti-Christians can be just as nasty and mean as the people they hate but I’ll leave it at this: a lot of us see the Bible as a guide and not something to be followed to a t.

And what’s funny is the people that think they follow it to a t actually don’t and Jesus would have been friends with LGBT.

And I’m done. Not talking religion anymore.
