Completed this quest from Vereesa in Silvermoon and did NOT receive a spark of tides
not sure if its bugged. You can only get 1 spark this week with a couple ways to get it. If you got one already, you cant get another till next week. I have 1 already from doing the world tour quest on my fresh shammy, just finished this quest with gives another, but im waiting till next week to turn it in. Theres even vids on youtube for the first things to do this week, not sure if you seen any, but they warn you can only get 1 for now.

This information is not correct. This week you can get 2 sparks 1 from Trailing Xal’Atath and the other from the PVP quest. Some people report getting a 3rd if its a new alt or you never did the world tour quest from season 1.

Missing a spark on a few of my characters from surge quest rewards…not giving the rewards.
I heard that this morning, so I stand corrected. It was understood that before prepatch hit we were getting one. but as it went live, its 3, but as Zookie has said, some have been reporting that it will show a spark as a reward, but not getting it. As for it being bugged, you would think the test server would have gotten the bugs outta the way.
The same is true for me. I completed the quest and did not get my spark. I submitted a ticket. This early in the season not getting a spark is very big setback.

I completed the Trailing quest prior to the Surge quest and did not receive the Spark as a reward. However, the Surge quest did reward me with the Spark.
It is NOT clear if you can have 2 spark or two in this week 
Not only didI not get a spark I am unable to turn it in because Vanessa Windrunner is no where to be found
I’ve done every weekly that was supposed to reward a spark plus the pvp ones AND the one they just added and I’m still missing one spark. Currently at 2 of 3 where we are supposed to be all at 3 now.
