usually takes about 2 weeks. though no idea if there is optional stuff to grind for reputation with the new faction.( that is outside of the norm. IE world quests/rares)
Why not just make this a requirement for druids to get their flightform, while opening slow-as-molasses flight to everyone else for logging in to play your new content?

If this is 310% flying this is a huge miss, you’ve created zones assuming Dragon riding and the pathfinder “reward” is to downgrade us. I did all the requirements before I realised you were probably doing this… zzz

Everyone in my cutting edge raiding guild is quitting due to the flying requirements. According to Blizz insiders, close to 80% of the playerbase has already unsubbed due to the pathfinder achievement.

That can be said for every piece of content the game has to offer. Once again, complaining about haveing to ‘play the game’ to play the game, is silly… help me understand why anyone would buy the game/expansion to ‘not play it at all?’ is that a trend?
Hope the Portal Pass crowd each asks the devs about this!

This really makes no sense.
Why the insistence on PF in this xpac particularly, where we’ve been flying from 15 mins into the Dragon Isles questline?
A good portion of the people hanging out for this wanted it due to physically not being able to DR.
OG flying as an option is a welcomed return, but PF is just odd at this point.

My favorite part of this blue post was when they told us in an “expanded explanation” how it was going to be but didn’t even once acknowledge/address any of the concerns raised by the community.
Who is in charge of this stuff? They are extremely out of touch with the player base. It’s honestly embarrassing at this point. Embarrassing for the management and the employees, but also for the players.

I’ll be honest I don’t understand why Pathfinder is a thing at all this expansion. I know in the past y’all wanted us exploring on the ground to immerse ourselves in the setting but in Dragonflight, we’ve been soaring everywhere this whole time like jets.
Standard flight is just what we’ve been doing but slower, with different mounts, and hovering. I think you could have just given everyone flight and maybe placed a mount behind the Pathfinder achievements.

Uh…how? Are you new to WoW or something? Generally speaking, for the past 19 years at least, the “superior” form of something usually requires the more dedicated form of gameplay to receive.
Since when are we going backwards? I’ve been using the “superior” form of flight since day 1 lol.

Yeah, i think pathfinder should probably remove caverns or at least tone it down, but the rest I found pretty reasonable. most of that would have been passive even for most casual of players. it’s only a long laundry list for anyone who took a year off or something. Which is why i also think a solution at this point would be to just activate the 100% rep boosts for all players at 1 renound instead of 10, a catchup mechanic if you will for returning players.

Pay attention Blizzard, almost everyone understand how to implement a better pathfinder reward 
Just add the achievement for a mount, let everyone fly since day 1 of this patch.

Honestly, I don’t believe you. Getting regular flying isn’t really that huge of a deal in itself. The issue is the unreasonable locks behind it. If anyone is quitting over the slow flying requirements, that’s a little ridiculous because we’ve been playing the expansion for a year now without it. Were they not already playing this whole time without it?

Sounds like Ion is still letting his ego get in the way of logic and player fun.
Requiring anything resembling Pathfinder to unlock an arguable downgrade in flight mechanics is just bizarre, and I can only conclude that the devs still have their knickers in a twist about having flight in the game at all. They really need to just get over themselves at this point.
