Honestly, we need a standard crossbow model, and a heavy crossbow model.

There aren’t enough good, functional crossbow models that aren’t prone to this weird “I have no idea how this mechanism works” in WoW barring the single-polygon ones we got in Vanilla, BC and a handful of the Draenei ones in Wod and Pandaren ones from Mists. And the alternate skins for the Legion Marksman artifact.
This IRKS me to no end because they’re one of my favourite fantasy/medieval weapons of all time, only surpassed by the spear and hwacha.
We deserve decent, useful crossbows already!

The only thing that makes me mad about the RAF mounts being on the trading post is that you can no longer get them from RAF… I think it would be nice to have them available both on the Trading Post and as RAF rewards, because I have friends interested in Dragonflight and I miss getting mounts for that!
I’m ok with other people getting the mounts, though.

And I agree. I have several RAF mounts and several card game mounts. I truly don’t care if everyone else has access to them. Open up the database!
My magic rooster is a great mount because it’s a great mount; not because few people have it.
TBH, I would personally enjoy seeing an entire zone filled with magic roosters.

I had to google hwacha. I can only imagine ‘hwacha’ is the sound this “spear shotgun catapult” makes when it fires.

What made them terrifying was that they’d have them in ranks of dozens in formation, meaning they’d launch and be able to literally annihilate a whole chunk of the enemy.
There was a chinese version that used only two large bolts, but they were connected by a chain made of flattened, sharpened links, and the only place these were used was at the gates of large walled cities, so anyone trying to force their way in through the same gates used to enter the city would have these things launched at them.
The bolts were big and heavy enough that it took two men to load them in, but the killer was the chain strung between them. Not only would it bisect most people caught in its path, given the state and composition of the armor used at the time, but it would have so much momentum that it could go through three or four ranks before getting ‘clogged up’, at which point the bolts would whip around, causing more chaos and helping to block off the entrance, either through terror of you’re next if you go through, or by literally clogging the entrance with mangled bodies.
Human history is full of wonderful technological advancements and discovers we promptly turned around and used to murder each other with.
Heck, I wouldn’t mind AOTC mounts being rereleased somehow, because a lot of those mounts are COOL and I wouldn’t mind getting the ones I missed. If I already have the aotc mount, I don’t have to farm it 
Imagine how cool it would be if they made a ‘custom’ mount that you could build yourself out of a pile of pre-selected parts for each general mount template. Sort of like the creature creator of Spore.
Nothing too crazy, but it could definitely be something to add to the taskbar beneath the regular fancy mount of the month.

November Trading Post:
I’ll be spending 1,025 tenders; probably the most I’ve ever spent but far from blowing the bank.

Looks like the only thing I want is the monk staff. Everything else is underwhelming.
December was an anomaly.
New list for the trading post is up, offering (quite possibly) the largest selection of varied items to-date. A golden pterrordax and qiraji scarab being sold as mounts (there’s also a pet lizard).
Ancestral totems are making a comeback, along with golden blademaster stones and TWO armor sets - one guardsman in appearance and the other looks like the RAF armor set? More cloak variants which are always popular, sleeves, sarongs, boots, and a fancy feral tabard.
All you trolls are getting spoiled with the Witch Doctor’s Fetish Frame back piece AND shield.
And the ultimate reward for completion is a watch transmog. I feel like one of the mounts would have better sufficed with the watch being purchasable for 100 tenders or so, but I know a lot of folks who have saved their coins over the months. This seems like an excellent time to buy buy buy!
IMO, the new gun is nice and actually looks like a gun. (WHERE’S MAH CROSSBOW, BLIZZARD?!) So I’ll be spending quite a few tenders this month. I’m already not going to be able to afford everything I want.

wow, inflation on the trading post is worse than real life. 800 for mounts? 500 for a gun. So what’s the plan, raise it till we can only get one item per month, then have us begging for blizz to sell us tenders for $$. Man, every time i try to like you guys…

So, it looks like if you got up early enough you got an extra 500 tenders as a bug, that’s already been hotfixed out. I missed out on it.
I have to say, I am finding that I’m not quite as interested in most of the items being posted on this trading post, as I thought I would be when we started a year ago.
I was sitting at 5200 tender this morning. Maxed out my TP, got my wristwatch reward, got my warden set and another 1500 tender, putting me at 6700.
I picked up the Wastewander set, the Kalu’ak treads and the orange shirt and am sitting at 5750, so even with buying the things I wanted I am still above where I started this morning.
I guess once again I am just sitting in a good spot if they ever post something I really want that costs a lot of tender.
