When Blizzard have set the amount for a mount at like 700-800, they must be trolling to think I’m going to buy a staff, even a cool looking one, for 500 tenders.

FINALLY, i’ve been waiting for someone to post this guy since I started the thread!
In the first TP, they had a legendary Ragnaros flail for 750 I believe. That would seem like a outlier rarity. 1 weapon appearance that’s super unique new model.
I get that. I do.
But a highres version of the iconic warlock weapon for 500 instead of just upgrading the original?
Not to mention the Druid claw or dagger you can only show-off if you’re leveling, as there’s no endgame off-hand that’s suitable for druids.

those people are beyond help. the permanent broom looks BETTER than the og broom in every way.
a month later and the prices jumped up even more. Now most the items cost 650…
I view the trading post as free optional extras. This is stuff that would’ve been on the cash shop previously, so it’s an improvement. No you can’t get everything. I pick and choose the things I really want.
Blizzard has done a lot of really terrible things in the past 5 years, so I am not someone to jump to their defense, but this is seriously a non-issue.
This is because they are gearing up to sell tenders on the cash shop. Keep raising prices, not let players earn more in-game, people will become more open to buying them off the cash shop to be able to buy everything.

Even IF that’s true…before the trading post, this would’ve all been on the shop anyway. So it’s still just a bonus way to earn items that would’ve cost money previously, for free.
