after the latest patch i was able to open my chest. it had the mount and 500 tender. but i already had 1900 tender and apparently it’s capped at 2000, so i lost 400 of it. how are we supposed to know there was a cap? and how are we supposed to know when a chest contains tender so we can spend some tender first before opening it? i can’t believe how poorly thought out this thing is.

So I finally did it last night and fortunately everything worked fine for me. After about half an hour of doing an assortment of tasks, some of which didn’t seem register btw so that part is still bugged, I ended up with exactly 2,000 tender and the saber mount for getting the 1000 monthly task points.
I haven’t actually attempted to buy anything since none of the offerings interest me so I can’t confirm if that part of the process work.
As an aside, even though I know absolutely nothing about coding, it took just minutes of me interacting with the Trading Post to realize what caused all the problems. The entire thing uses a completely new system which was obviously very poorly integrated with the existing one. Everything from the chest which has a unique opening animation and doesn’t use the golden cog icon when being interacted with, to the vendor interface and even the log itself as well as all the popups for completing the tasks are all brand new.
I appreciate the effort that went into making these, however, just like the UI update those new systems wreaked havoc with the game’s code and rendered this new feature unplayable. I realize that this is an almost 2 decade old game but in the future if you can’t manage the code anymore then just don’t try to needlessly fiddle with it unless absolutely necessary.
At this point I think it’s become painfully clear that if you want to introduce all these shinny new flourishes to the game you’re better off remaking it from scratch as WoW 2.0 or whatever…

AH still not giving credit…pulled another 26oo out of mail box from AH…gave me 200 g credit…

The tender is not capped at 2,000, that’s just the maximum you can have atm. You can get 1,000 per month, 500 just for logging in and clicking on the chest and another 500 for completing monthly tasks until you fill the bar in your log. This monthly only you also get an additional 1,000 for having purchased DF. If it displayed something else that was just a visual bug or the system not updating properly.

There are a number of tasks that don’t seem to update properly or at all when completed. Fortunately, there are so many of them and they generally take so little time to do that it’s not really a major hurdle. It’s still something they should fix of course, though I doubt it is a priority given how many other very serious bugs still haven’t be resolved, some going as far back as the DF pre-patch…
Still can’t look the tender & somehow all I got for completing everything to get the mount is -tender?

Logged in after the maintenance, went to Org and got tenders and mount.
I have still received no Tenders or mount.

Still not able to loot the box at all.
Completed the quest on Feb 1.
Have not been able to loot at all, maybe a GM can try resetting the quest for me and we see what happens?
I too had my 2k before maintenance. Received my mount and spent some of it.
Logged in today with 500 in my chest but no tender in the store. So same.

Same deal here, haven’t been able to open the Collector’s Cache at all since the launch of the trading post and every patch seems to do nothing. 1/3 of the time this event is available for is gone and I have nothing to show for it.

Still zero currency ever collected, and no mount. Monthly progress bar fluctuates from complete to empty when first logging on any character. I can complete the various goal/achievement style tasks, but gaining rewards or spending currency is nonfunctional.
Hey, at least the reward chest opening and closing animation works!
Looked again today. Now, it almost looks like everything is reset - except for the fact that many of the Trading Post achievements have already been completed. But I’m at 0 points for this month.
Replying to myself - just checked the chest. It gave me 500TT and Ash’adar. So, that was at least fixed for me. But, the bar still looks like I have “work” to do this month though it’s not counting anything.
received the mount after filling the bar day after release, spent the currency as well on all i could purchase, have completed tasks since and had a chest with currency, open it, says currency recieved, go to the vendor to purchase items, shows 0 balance on currency, been like this since Feb 3
My Ash’adar showed up, and my remaining tendies. But my Trading Post Enthusiast achievement is still showing 0/12. I hope you’re fixing that as well.

Thank you for keeping us updated. I too am affected and have an open ticket for this issue of not getting any currency nor rewards. Luckily it’s a month long event so I’m not worried about it. Keep us posted and thanks. 
Logged on this morning to show a friend the Trading Post and, lo and behold, everything worked as advertised - got thye mount and tender, bought the flail and longbow, I’m a happy camper. For those still waitng - Patience, everything will be fixed. The coders may have over-engineered the process with the new coinage appearing in a chest accessible by all of out alts, rather than just using the existing systems, but that’s progress. I guess. But to quote the bard, all’s well that ends well.
Yay!! it works for me now – evidently we cap at 2000 per month? but yay, it works now !!!
