I’m happy to see my friends acquire mounts and mogs etc. that have been absent from the game. However, some of us paid much higher prices for them when they were current content and now have no currency to spend on missing items. What is the point of reintroducing these items with no ability to purchase them? How is that someone from 3 years ago and accumulated thousands of Tender is able to have more purchasing power than someone who has been collecting and paying the full price?

Yeah Blizz not playing nice, could be someone dropped the ball and it’s a mistake or they are truly heartless.
I’m not that into TP but I know many are, and we all family here, so I hope Blizz dips a little deeper into their tender pockets and shows the community some love!

Sorry that Blizzard can’t do anything to suit everyone but they tried.
Players complained about the old trading post items going away forever and now they brought back some of them at reduced prices and players still complain.
Don’t give them the idea of selling trading tenders in the store. Or have they done that already?

Things go on sale over time. If you want to gamble that the item may come back 3 years later at a discount, don’t buy it. If you want it right now and don’t want to gamble, buy it.
Not trying to be smug, I bought some stuff now because of the discount, wasn’t worth buying at full price. Other things I really wanted and I bought when they first released, and I don’t care that other people are buying them cheaper now.

Are you claiming people should not use a major game system thats entire purpose is to reward people for playing the game?
The problem is they added new stuff this month on top of the major sales. People are complaining because they cant buy any of it.

Collecting WoW stuff for the sake of collecting it is a scam. Has been ever since they opened up the WoW store. I used to collect mounts, pets and toys all the time, but the more things were put on the store, the more I realised I don’t need these things. I have hundreds of mounts, thousands of pets. I don’t need to treat this game like a second job or crack open my wallet for something I’ll never use, and no one cares if I have it or not.
Once I realised that, I stopped playing into the skinner box and started only getting things I actually could see myself using. Trading Post is the same. If I don’t care for a mount, I don’t get it. Simple as that. Now I can pretty much always afford whatever I want from Trading Post.
You don’t need everything. The game is better when you realise that.

Are they at least going to give us a way to buy extra tender during the event? I’m happy to pay money for more tenders but month over month I buy what I want and normally don’t have enough left for events like this. It may be poor planning but there just isn’t enough to save up and buy the items when big events go one like this and they don’t give us an additional way to earn/buy more.

And why exactly can’t you “buy anything, period”? Because you’re spending it all every month collecting things you will probably never use. There are plenty of us who can get everything we want every month. Sometimes I spend more than the 1000, usually I spend less and end up saving a bit for future months. Even then I’m probably spending more than I actually need.
You don’t need everything. Spend wisely and frugally on things you’ll actually use and you’ll be much more financially well off. Just because you have money doesn’t mean you have to spend it. If you do spend it all, that’s on you. This advice works just as well irl as it does in game

The tender limit of 1k per month is a pain at times and I would like it if we could earn more through playing beyond that limit.
