In the hopes of better understanding the mount controversy. I would like to ask some questions of the forum visitors. Regarding the Wow Cash Shop. So far it seems some players like the Price tag for the mount and some do not. But lets get away from the mount itself, and discuss the cash shop instead.

In your opinion what do you think would improve the cash shop generally speaking so that the customers would feel that it was a place that they would get great value for their money. That the customer is treated fairly. Also What types of in-game items do you think should be sold in the cash shop and which shouldn’t in terms of game balance?

What theyre doing now is fine.
I mean, Id put more mounts and mogs and stuff in there every month instead of leaving it sit for ages.
Do some recolors of favorite old mounts and toss them up there too.
some of us just want that horde Zepplin…lol…we dont care if its a $25 recolor as long as its not purple or green or some other color that doesnt fit horde.

personally I dont see any of this as being ‘treated fairly’ or unfairly.
its OPTIONAL. If one has the $$$ to blow, go for it. If not, just play the game and ignore the store. I ignore the store in ESO and i havent died or stroked out from it, lol

I suggested calling it a premium tier of mounts. This will help people wrap their heads around this not being a shop item that is meant to be cheaper.

I’m against store mounts to begin with in a sub game, but if it’s not going anywhere, I’d like to see them market way better.

Actually, I believe this would work to some degree.
We obviously have an easier to acquire Bruto now compared to the last, but its the psychology of it being on the store that is evidently causing the fit tossing about it even though we can easily farm the gold for it.

I think youre spot on here. Change the mindset about it with a different approach in the marketing and based on the reaction between the 2 existing Brutos, Id bet they can get a more positive response in the future.

just change the marketing strategy and get a different reaction even though it boils down to the exact same thing at the end of the day.

I would remove the cash shop as well as the Wow Token. That’s my solution. Let Blizzard profit by doing this kinda thing to the Diablo 4 players.
