Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur $90.00 Ripoff!

Yeah, you know plenty of bad games back then. Plenty of bad games now, just check out the Steam site. OMG! Not only hindi games but games made by chimpanzees on crack so bad. Total waste of money time and effort. Now, Here came Wow. Every rpg fan out in the universe said Wow is the game we want! Yeah! Life is good again. Lets have a parade, Joy Joy!

So over 2 decades fans binoculars focused on Wow. Oh Nooooo. Fans see with there own eyes. Wow getting old. The company not fixing stuff. Now company has Scrooge. Yeah that’s right Scrooge. This Scrooges says to the evil angels Hey, how can we be like money vampires? Evil angel tell scrooge. Easy. Put easy I win in the eyes of fans. Make it so they spend spend spend. Put more toys on the floor. Make it so fans don’t even need to play game, they can just be like Idle games. No more real work ethic here. No must work work work. Right. Yes, Yes. Says Scrooge. That’s the train ticket. Scrooge so happy now. Look! Scrooge says. Just look at the money water fall.

So now fans start to look around. People focus on Wows motivations. We no like dis. they say. Are we getting flim flamed here huh? huh? So were do they have to go? Who do the fans talk to. Scrooge no care bout fans. So unhappy fans come to the forum to air their unhappynesses. Oh and what they get in forum? Fellow fans screem; you no talk bad bout Scrooge’s motivation. You all complainers is not people we want, get out a here!
Fans feel assaulted. So they fight back. Then forum becomes like drunken sailors fighting in a bar. Big riot. Scrooge no care. Scrooge busy counting money. So what does this have to do with anything? Huh? See this is the fable. Blah blah blah. La-di-da.

Exactly.
What that poster is leaving out is all the BUGS you got with MANY games ‘back in the day’ lmao.

Battle cruiser 3000ad was pretty near unplayable out of the box. It might actually have 1st prize as the buggiest game ever created.
AT first you could get a refund for a lot of these games, but a point most places turned to only allowing the product to be replaced with the SAME product, which made it pointless to return them because we’d have the same exact problems.

The bigger detail that poster is intentionally leaving out is ‘back then’ you got the game…you didnt get updates…you didnt new things…you didnt get expansions.

at least with THIS game being online we get things fixed sometimes and get new content.

So her comparison isnt comparable to this ONLINE game that is forever being updated and added to isnt in the same gaming universe to the games way back when.

Yo, yo, yo, brah. You all mixing apples and grapefruit ta make silly points. Hey you be you. Have you not seen the executive’s writing on the wall. But some deny it, no no they say. we see no evil. Blizzard exec’s good. You rebellious no good. You want a fair shake? Go somewhere else. We no have time fer ya crying. we busy counting our ill-gotten gaines.
La de da.

Living is so easy with eyes closed
Misunderstanding all you see
It’s getting hard to be someone, but it all works out
It doesn’t matter much to me.
… Let me take you down
'Cause I’m going to strawberry fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry fields forever.

Tf? I can smell the liberal on you

Now now. tsk tsk tsk. The Rules say no political talk. See so there ya go.

Its obvious that the OP was talking about World of Warcraft. This is a direct quote:
“Gone are the Wow days that people would earn through in-game effort the things they wanted.”

lmao…just stop talking son…THIS CLEARLY ISNT about WOW

if you cant keep up with current events, maybe talk in someone elses direction. :+1:

When did all this start: The Activision Blizzard Merger. It’s not a secret. It’s been discussed for a long time now.

The 2008 merger with Activision was a monumental turning point for Blizzard. While the deal promised greater resources and a wider reach, it also signaled a subtle yet significant change in direction. The focus gradually shifted away from creating games as an act of passion into a more calculated effort designed to appease shareholders and maximize profits. This shift wasn’t necessarily overt, but in the years that followed, its effects would become increasingly apparent.

From Fan Favorites to Disappointment

As time went on, fans saw beloved franchises fall by the wayside. Starcraft 2’s promised single-player campaigns never materialized, the once-vibrant Heroes of the Storm got abruptly axed, and meaningful updates to core games became less frequent. New releases, like Diablo Immortal, were met not with celebration, but with widespread backlash over their aggressive monetization. It felt like Blizzard prioritized lining their pockets over delivering the experiences players craved. That legendary “Blizzard polish” seemed to be replaced by a push for rapid releases and extracting maximum value at the cost of player goodwill.

That’s it in a nutshell. That’s what this thread is about.

It’s obvious you can’t keep track of conversation son. I know what this thread is about and I know what I responded to
Your not wasting my time tonight because you can’t admit you were jumped into the middle of an exchange you cant keep up with…ignored

“A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.”

WoW players really are grinding the gears in their cranium just to spit out the most inane, dull troll response that’s been word-vomited hundreds of times now lmao

This explains a lot lol

We finally agree on something…

Nice to see you had a bit of self-reflection then lmao

Projection is another common issue on this forum… :+1:

Coming into this forum is like falling into an evil rabbit hole. The place is unhealthy.

Im sorry but your deranged proverbs are annoying me now…so…

Wait a minute miss “I don’t like to get insulted.” How come you insult so many people like you just insulted me. Huh? What’s up with that?
