Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur $90.00 Ripoff!

Yeah that is like saying to your beloved spouse. Gee honey it’s our 20th anniversary of marriage. And to commemorate this wonderful event I have this beautiful bouquet of flowers for you to mark your commitment to our union. I can sell it to you for the price of $90.00 plus tax. Now isn’t this a wonderful gesture on my part.

There is a very old proverb that is known world wide for centuries. I will quote it:
“A fool and his money are soon parted” I wonder if it has any merit here?

People getting mad in this thread. You know what makes me real mad? Well i will tell you. Blizzard has not let Worgen have tails. Worgen should have tails. What not to understand about that?

Do werewolves have tails. I cant think of a horror movie where the werewolf had a tail.

‘The appearance of a werewolf in its animal form varies from culture to culture. It is most commonly portrayed as being indistinguishable from ordinary wolves, except for the fact that it has no tail (a trait thought characteristic of witches in animal form), is often larger, and retains human eyes and a voice. According to some Swedish accounts, the werewolf could be distinguished from a regular wolf by the fact that it would run on three legs, stretching the fourth one backwards to look like a tail’ - werewolf wiki

I would agree with you that werewolves in movies are not often depicted with tails. But when ever I have seen such werewolves without tails it has always bothered me in the sense that it feels that naturally speaking they should have tails. I am a little vexed that my werewolf form has no tail. Although by wearing a long cape hides the fact I don’t have a tail.

The werewolf is a fantasy creature that has come down to us through thousands of years of folklore. As such there have been many variations of what a werewolf should look like so the debate is still ongoing. Me personally, I like to see werewolves depicted as they are in wow; as large humanoid semi-canine, lupine. But with tails.

I would guess that the topic is always open for discussion.

The werewolf wiki description sounds very much like a worgen. Cursed by witches, no tails and human eyes and voice

The werewolf mythos developed from ancient peoples superstitions. Those superstitions said that a werewolf or shape-changer was the product of a curse. Forcing the human to at a full moon turn into a ravaging beast, that would run mindlessly through the forests at night tearing to pieces anyone they ran across. Some versions have the human turning into an actual wolf running on all four legs. Others have the human turning into a hairy weird looking person. I am going to guess that some of these legends started due to possibly the medical decease rabies. Which turns a human into a mindless raging violent person who attacks other people. Superstitious people saw that as an evil manifestation. And likened the victim as behaving like a crazed animal. Of course superstitious people picked up on that idea and ran with it. But I feel that it might go even further in history than the middle ages. Since the ancient Egyptians believed in animalistic deities. Such as
Anubis, bastet, Hothor, Sobek, etc. Anibus being a human with the head of a jackel.

Modern cinema, novels, and games create thier own ideas as to what a werewolf is, and how it looks. But it’s all really up to each writer’s, artist’s, personal interpretations.

Blizzard’s artists designed the Worgen as they thought look cool. Although I think there are two aspects which I think should be changed. One is the male werewolves hunched over appearance. The female Worgen does not have that look. And I think the Worgen would look better with tails.

You sub 1200 io hard stuck lfr guys are still crying over this eh?

Sorry I don’t understand what you mean?

Definitely agree that for many its just about how this played out.

But there are a list of them who have been making personal insults on both sides from day one here…calling names for buying it…or calling names for saying its too expensive.

The even worse annoyance is some of them calling us names for buying it…or just being insulting…then playing the victim when theyre called out in the behavior.

and you all COULD have just said something like THIS instead of running your mouths on anyone who had the cash and bought the mount because they wanted it regardless of what blizzard ‘should’ have done here.

We ALL know how blizzard is.
They dont exactly have a history of caving on this kind of thing.
If they did theyd have put the first Bruto back on the vendor.

Time is running out.
Stop wasting it in here and go farm the gold if you all want the mount, which is VERY obvious you all do, or you wouldnt be obsessing this hard over it.

Nope worth every dollar

Im pointing out that most of the people still griping over the bruto happen to also be in the lower echelons of player skill.

So that is your evaluation about some players. Ok. But I thought we were discussing Worgen tails?

What a skill it is to open your wallet and shell out money for a mount reskin lmao

Bad reading comprehension i would bet good money you also are hard stuck grey

Just musing over the coincidence that the bads have issue with spending 90 bucks and the non bads could care less is all.

One might even be able to come to the conclusion that being successful irl equals being successful in game. And being hard stuck grey/lfr in game equals making 7.25 an hour thus making 90 bucks a significant expense.

I bet you thought you cooked with this one lmao

Well, I see. I would like to advise you if I may. That it is better not to make assumptions about people, judging only by what you see posted on the forum. And when dealing with other human beings it is better to treat every one with respect and kindness.

I bet you still click your skills even though youve been playing since 2004

Eh not really its a game and a mount in the game at that. If someone doesnt like the mount dont buy it. Literally that simple.
