It’s a bit naive to not consider how this could easily lead to additional future conveniences being locked behind store purchases. The long-term repercussions of this will result in many thousands of dollars per player over the next decade of Wow not including the buying of expansions and the subscription. People will keep saying don’t worry about other people’s money and get a job etc. But if this only affected the people who purchased the mount and no one else, literally no one would care. But people never think about what will happen in the near future or how it can impact others, so the slippery slope continues.

It is available. Grind the gold for 6 wow tokens, but them, convert to Battle net balance and purchase. The irony of people having an issue with this and not people buying $600 of WoW tokens for the original has me laughing so hard it hurts.
