You pay a monthly fee to access the expansion as delivered.
If people want to pay a monthly fee to include everything - well I am sure that could be a thing they could offer, but then get ready to start paying a whole lot more each month.
I pay a monthly fee for my cell phone.
Does that mean I should be able to use any cell phone I want in the store?
Does it mean I can take all of the cell phones home and use them all if I want?
Does it mean I can sit in their store 24 hours a day?
Does that allow me to use any app for free?
Does that allow me to call anywhere I want in the world via cell phone services (not apps/internet) for free?
I mean, it should be all included right?

The game used to be like that before the shop. It included everything with the sub.
I guarantee people would pay 20 dollars a month if everything was included in game.

Not 100% – They still charged for race changes, server changes, name changes, etc.
They did over time add additional items but every one of these services/items in the shop are 100% optional.
Not one is required to buy to play.

hes nuts…a HUGE part of this base would lose their minds if the sub went to 20 bucks EVEN IF it included much more and we all know it.
make it 25 or higher and watch the subs nose dive again. lol
No, they didn’t always have those options. There was no other transaction besides the sub and the game. There was the TCG cards, and other outside promo’s, but not misconstructions until 2009 I believe.

If they raised the price to 20 or 25 and said - on you get these pets, mounts, services, etc - then all of these same people would be screaming - I don’t want any of that and the price should be 15.00 a month and make the pets, mount services optional.

The services option has been in game since OG TBC and maybe before, but my memory gets foggy that far back.
I don’t have an issue with those kinds of services. They were needed back then. Like the realm transfer. Nobody complaints about those, aside for the price. That started in BC.
What they do complain about is store mounts, and that was implemented in 2010, it was the celestial steed, and store mounts were very rare back then.
You can have your opinion, and tbh they are both guesses, but I think if you say a 20 dollar monthly sub but everything is in game, people would take that, because people complain about everything isn’t an excuse that they wouldn’t take that deal.

They are complaining about price. Please read 99.9999% of the replies/threads. People are all mad about the price. No one would be mad if they made it 25.00 or 20.00… well most people would not. Read the actual subject of this post. “Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur $90.00 Reipoff!” – That is not complaining about how rare a mount is but that it is so expensive.
No people would complain they don’t want/use the extras and lower it and the price for adjust inflation would be more like 25.00 and then they add more above that to make up for the extras they are not making.

I’m saying services are different than store items, and people don’t have as much an issue with them. There is a difference between services and mounts, pets, transmog, ect.
Yea, sure, the price fine. The fact that they exist is something people don’t like as well.
I disagree. You’re just guessing, just like me. People complain about everything, even good things. That’s not a good argument to prove most of the community would not prefer paying 20 dollars for everything in the game.
How are they different? They are optional as well, in fact, even more egregious since a race change is fully automated and pets/mounts/transmog require more graphic artist time.
That is not the topic/focus of the thread. It references a price and that is where people have the big issue.
Though it could be a guess I suspect it is a spot on guess. People would rather pay the 15.00 a month and then add OPTIONAL items on top as they chose rather than pay for an all-inclusive price… That is at least the feedback I’ve read, since it has been floated more than once the last few weeks.

I don’t think so. That’d be kind of interesting if they implemented a premium tier of subscription that did include all store items and other goodies. That’d be a funny experiment. I’d get it.
I myself like the current sub as it is… Let me buy extras if I need (and I don’t need) or want (and I always want but rare I pull trigger on)…well that is my thoughts on it anyway.

Blizzard should do it…raise the sub to 30 bucks then all these extras are ‘free’…and wait for the screams of horror to start. lol.
Secondly blizzard is motivated to make these mounts and crap BECAUSE they can charge EXTRA for them.
IF they were included in the INCREASED price, now they have our $$$ and theres much LESS incentive to put in the work.
thats how the golf course did me.
When I paid by the round they treated me like royalty because they still wanted the sale.
But when i prepaid by buying an expensive membership…now they dont need to get my money…they have it already…so the treatment was more like I was some annoying vagrant smelling up their clubhouse lol.
These mounts are great because bliz can money grub from those who do have the money and NOT charge more for the subscription.
