Tortollan Endeavor

Hi,

I’ve tried neighborhood hopping around 20 times and no luck finding this one. Anyone have tips or know of one that has it?

Thanks

Don’t try to do the achievement for the secret decor, it bugs out if it isn’t your home endeavor. It won’t count the found items in your achievement panel, but it will count you as finding the objects and won’t let you open them again.

You can try the group finder… perhaps one of the house warming groups can help you out?

My Horde neighborhood has it. It’s Mystic Flame Gardens. But! As others have said, DO NOT try to do any of the actual endeavor stuff, but if you just want to take your own community coupons there and spend them on decor, knock yourself out.

Unless…

You feel like spending 1,000 gold to move your house there to do this endeavor. And honestly, I would not blame anybody for choosing to do that, especially if they were the kind of player who does a lot of gold generating activity but is trying to play catch up on housing. ‘Cause here’s the thing…and I don’t know if everyone knows this yet…

Every single secret souvenir you collect gives you 10 coupons and 50 house xp - no diminishing returns, and no limit to how many you can get how fast. There are 60 of them. Granted, a few are a little challenging to get. I did try to do the “no cheating, no guides, Easter Egg hunt” version of this for a while, but frankly there were some that I NEVER would have found without the guide I found on Wowhead. With it…had it done in a day, though, again, a few are not so easy even with the guide. One requires you to have a character capable of putting some kind of water (via a spell like healing rain or something) onto a dirt pile. There are some that wander around. One won’t appear if a particular turtle dude thinks the party at the beach is lame.

But it leveled my house twice. I bought the Bel’Ameth Temple room and a ton of decor. I have no idea how long this would have taken me with any other endeavor I’ve seen so far, but…way longer, that’s for sure.

Between that, and the fact that you can plop your toon down on a beach towel and get rewarded (to a lesser degree, but STILL) for doing basically nothing? Holy moly, this endeavor will spoil you rotten.

EDIT - Ehm…Google’s AI thingie says it does NOT cost anything to move a house to a different neighborhood/plot after you pay the initial 1000 gold but some people say it does, and I always thought it did since using neighborhood finder indicates a new plot would cost 1k gold. Confused. No idea. But if it’s free, well…I could see some roaming houses to take advantage of optimal endeavors…

There are a couple of addons that will list the endeavors of other neighborhoods. I’m using Dump Decor currently from wowdb housing which shows the percentage reached in other neighborhoods and also allows you to dump your data to their site for collection and planning out of game. Enhanced Endeavors shows what milestone the neighborhoods in house finder have reached as well.

There are probably others as well. Curse forge now has a fairly extensive list of addons available for housing by clicking on Browse then choosing filter and housing.

A quick look through my listing shows Alliance neighborhoods of Pale Lion Hill and Clear Light Rest having completed Vacation Season while Clear Lion Banks and First Stream Sanctuary have finished Every Bakar has it’s Day. No completion on Candle Culture yet although my neighborhood of Silent Wind Sanctuary is at 68% currently.

I hope this is helpful.

Our Horde neighborhood has it currently. Join this community and ask someone in Blaze of Glory guild to invite you to a house in the neighborhood:

The neighborhood is called “Blaze of Glory Brat Pack” unimaginatively, same as the community.

I was looking for the same (moving my house there) and found a public Horde neighborhood already 4/4 done even! It is: Hot Bloom Oasis. Hope that helps!

I just moved to a neighborhood that has the Tortollans, it didn’t cost anything.
They had the endeavor finished already so I missed out on the chest. I didn’t realize that would happen but makes sense.
It’s an Alliance neighborhood, Great Flag Point.

Moving does cost 1000 gold. However, you earn 1000 gold by relinquishing your previous plot. So it all zeros out. You’ll end up seeing the 1000 gold crossed out during the moving process.

It wasn’t as clear originally and it may not be this way in the future.

Makes sense. You were still able to hunt Secret Souvenirs right? ‘Cause that’s the part that I found mind blowingly rewarding.

Do any of the other endeavors have anything like that? ‘Cause otherwise all I’ve found are little repeatable things that give you small snippets of house xp and coupons with usually diminishing returns. And of course the “doing things out in the world” rewards, some of which I benefit from as a solo player and some of which I do not.
