Thanks for this heads up, I didn’t know this function liked that.
make a group! you do not need to solo it!
So there is no skill involved? Just a gimicky way of beating the boss? So lame.
You’re comparing stay-at-home dad Monk with the chad Paladin. You can’t make that comparison, unfortunately.
I just 1 shot level 3 on the left one. First time trying lvl 3. Boss was writhing mass and in Frost spec it had nothing for me. My powers seemed average at best.
I even bought the wrong drums. I had the old Drums of Fury so they didn’t work. I found level 2 at ilvl 149 more challenging than level 3 at ilvl 172.
Torghast is too boring imo. Maybe if hunters had fun anime powers, but our stuff is boring as hell
Right- the issue here is Monk powers are mediocre and require more alignment than some other classes. This is hard to do because they are split by multiple roles.
I can one shot end bosses too with the right powers. To be clear, I mained Monk for years before throwing in the towel on the class a few months ago.
I think the vers from my pvp gear was maybe more significant than my powers. I can see it being tough on mage and arms warrior, but with so much vers I could just go back and forth between dps and death strike and never fall below 70% hp.
I haven’t done a monk run myself yet, but based on the classes I’ve tried I’ve noticed it’s very hard as an individual to judge how well a class will do in Torghast in the long run from just a couple of runs. The variance can be extreme and its easy to get a skewed view from an initial bad experience or two.
This is a good call out. Go check out some of the anima powers for Monk and think about how hard it would be to align powers to get a good build for WW in low ilvl.
Honestly, BrM and MW would probably feel fine in comparison.
its mostly aoe -based, its so trash sometimes.
I did all 3layers the first week upon hitting 60 on this monk with crafted gear. The WW monk has some pretty good ones. Even the less than stellar ones are fine if you get enough of them.
You’re not. They’re not bad, they’re not the best covenant ones but they can be really good. Getting dodge up to 100% isn’t something to snub your nose at or enemy damage being reduced by 20/40/60% isn’t bad.
Ok so I just beat the second wing on floor 3. I actually died twice before the boss. There were mobs that were nerfing my healing and I didn’t know. I also fell off the chains once running too fast. lol.
Neither boss got me below like 70% health in frost spec.
