Just don’t do Torghast if you don’t have the time to dedicate to finish it then, or bring someone to help you so you don’t die while you sit AFK
See, Torghast is go at your own pace with 2 intermission floors. I like to go slow, collect everything, and enjoy it. Others like to face roll. It’s a true rogue like in that sense and honestly? I think that anti-torghast threads are valid too. People don’t like rogue likes, blizz should add an alt. method of getting soul ash. /2cents

Yes, it happens OUTSIDE of the two areas I mentioned. Hence why I said: “You are safe when you first enter a new floor and at the vendor as well.”

I have, unfortunately, completely stopped doing any more Torghast content because of this. That really is a shame too, because Torghast was becoming my favorite feature of the entire expansion!
I really hope the devs remove this torment entirely.

Did you all know at the start of a new floor however you are immune to those annoyances until you move quite a bit?
I haven’t progressed that far yet in Torghast and am glad I read this. I would usually sit at the end of the floor and afk for a few minutes… If I cant do that, that’s going to suck. Fish gotta swim, smokers gotta smoke. (Not every floor but I take my time in there).
I remember back in BC while soloing some of the dungeons I would have to wait (pretty much) for all my cooldowns for each encounter.
It seems Blizzard is uncomfortable letting people chill for some game psychological game reasons.
This past weeks 2 floor bosses had troubles defeating. I looked it up and still had issues. Need someone to help me kill it. I’m ilvl 147 bm hunter.
I haven’t had any dogs spawning on me, even though I’ve waited a minute or two for CD’s to finish before engaging a floor boss. However, yesterday, I ran the one on the upper level (forgot name), and it kept having these flying things drop bomb swirls on me. At least those become attackable occasionally, and stay away several minutes if you kill them.
Many here have said that at the start of the floor, it’s safe. If you can’t be bothered to just cross to the next floor before you have to go afk for a while…
None of this is coherent.
Or how about the CC braining you while you’re trying to choose a power?
Hey Blizz, can we at least have some immunity for that?
