I killed it with DoTs, basically kiting around the whole floor with 2x Edgelurker (120% movement speed) while chugging Crimson Vial on cd, took more than 15 minutes.
I’m not even going to try the 2nd level lol.
I know right? I mean they have this whole system that they’ve developed with scaling but then don’t use it. I’m not saying it should be a cake walk… but it shouldn’t be so damn broken for some classes. And if I don’t have the gear for it, I shouldn’t be able to enter it… I mean they all ready use those types of restrictions on dungeons. The mobs aren’t that bad if you take your time and use your cc’s… Which I did find cool… I can work an area at my own pace… But then you get to a boss fight and it is like off the scale… At least for my rogue. and honestly crimson vial sucks.

I don’t understand how you are having issues, you are clearly doing something wrong, I had a few pieces of heroic gear and cleared both areas for the max soul ashes. Pick better powers next time? I don’t know, I line up powers based on the rng ones i get from the start, by the end I was doing over 60% increased dmg from the powers I got along the way and synced them up right, fight lasted less than 30s
Damn, I suppose DKs are stronger then? I was only in the 140-150’s and I did Upper floor 3 just fine…
I killed the end boss on layer 3 in under 10 seconds lol
Some classes and specs are simply better than others. Marksmanship struggles with the boss and certain packs due to a lack of defensive options (you can’t kite everything forever, as much as I wish you could), but beast mastery can basically waltz through the entire instance, pulling the whole floor and ending up fine.
Sounds like horrible game play. I’m out.
That’s a 1 time hit you’d have to farm up by having mobs beat on you for awhile, and that only gets you thru 1/3rd his health.
While there are many problems with grouping for this as your primary way to earn soul ash, the biggest is that tanks are apparently doing fine solo. As long as that’s the case, those of us who need a group to earn this required currency are screwed.

You should not be going in there as a level 10, my friend. It is designed for level 60s.

Theoretically the survivability ones can help you tank through it.
I can’t speak for druid, but with my dk some of those survivability ones saved my rear.
in reality it could be quite a bit more than 100k with other buffs… i wasn’t counting the 30% damage increase potion, 15% primary stat buff, etc.
i’m not saying it’s easy or even typical. i’m saying it’s not impossible.
people need to stop approaching torghast like a dungeon and start thinking creatively
It wouldn’t be THAT BAD if we actually got rewards, like armor/weapons or cool custom cosmetics.
i beat torgast super easy maybe it isnt that the tower is hard maybe its you. also i dont use addons which says something about torgast XD

Did you beat BFA’s Vision on your first attempt? Did you beat 5-Mask Vision on first attempts? It’s a progression. You get gear from somewhere else. Improve your stuff then repeat another attempt.
I beat 5-Mask Vision from my endless patience on M+10 to +12, then I beat Heroic Raid, then I came back to 5-Mask and beat it… then I progress more to M+15.
You think you would beat it on first attempt? Game would be bad if everyone beats the game easily.
I killed that boss in 2 spells. My necrolord monk ability that did 1000% dmg, and touch of death 
Luck of the draw, also melee is op from what I’ve seen except rogue
This boss has had posts for about a month ago from the beta and they still haven’t fixed it. Just one more reason to not play the xpac. Doesn’t matter how good the raid content might be, could be the best raids ever, but the current systems in the game and the complete balance failures completely turn me off from this one. Just gonna keep playing classic for a bit of naxx then cutting the sub, I have little hope they will fix these issues.

Though i’m sure that varies for classes. As far as one shot mechanics go I can ignore them with touch of karma.

I cleared level three before going into any dungeon. Though it was my fiance and I. Tank and DPS. We are ilevel 150ish.
