Torghast and borrowed power is back so with that in mind I'm gone

You pay a jc to uograde it and its timelocked via rares you have to camp and farm.

Its still you. Excessive grinds didn’t become a thing in wow till legion ( or mop if you want to stretch the term)

Player ability was the focus. There are korean grind mmos out there but wow finally moved away from that I am not pleased its returning to it.

ooh we already do that and have been doing that for years . If you don’t like it don’t play then and come back when 10.1 and the new raid/pvp season hits on the toon you play on your other account.

You might have. I haven’t. I don’t take you to mythic raids dont drag me to lfr.

I’d might believe you do mythic raids but since there is no sign of them on this toon you are posting on I have no way to tell if this is your only toon or a 2nd account and since it looks like only 1 toon I’m guessing it was made as a forum character for posting fake rage .

Lost so badly you want to attack the speaker to save face huh?

Bold strategy cotton lets see if it works out.

You do know that one of the big reasons WoW got to the top spot was because it was far less grindy and punishing than all the other MMOs on the market at the time?

Bye bye OP, this is not even close to choreghast. But one less person with a opinion that is useless on the forums.

THe key term is less grindy and nothing about this is really that grindy .

You go to area do some quests get some gems and a ring and if you want to get some more gems you kill some rares or check some chests.

I mean I guess just playing and doing outside world non raid /high end pvp is grinding then .

“upgrade stones” sounds an awful lot like Domination shards, and we all “loved” those.

They’re giving us mega casuals an easy way for a 420+ ring and players are…complaining?

Hwat in tarnation…

You already did that for your borrowed powerEmbellished Necklace. What’s the difference?

Thanks, be safe!

Some one mad a great comparison to the ring and how to get the gems .

It isn’t like domination gear but more like the punch card trinket from Mechagon and getting the gems is not like doing TOrghast but more like the Throne of THunder Treasure Trove.

Throw your hands in the air like you dont care.!!

Sadly its not.
I would be so happy to have torghast and its flawless master achievements again.
The forced grind was bad I know, also with some classes it was rather irritating to solo it, but I honestly enjoyed doing Flawless master achievements and obtaining op powers and doing crazy pulls with them. As a side activity it was nice when I got bored with m+.

Yeah i’m trying to stay rational about it.

Doesn’t change the fact my initial emotional response was “ew no why?” And i imagine i won’t be alone in this.

Feels a bit early to recycle mechanics from an expansion that nearly sank the game.

The punch card trinket from Mechagon didn’t require anything but slotting in Punch cards that dropped off mobs. And all of the punch cards were just stats. The only “power” effect was on a vendor to buy, you bought it with gold, no RNG involved. There were also other trinkets that competed with it. No solo dungeon run to get currency to upgrade the punch cards.

The Mechagon trinket is a Dragonling. Nothing special.

This ring will be BiS. If you don’t have this ring, it’ll be like not having your tier set. You’ll have to farm your keys, farm the dungeon, break shards, hope RNG gives you your BiS shard set, upgrade that BiS shard set. There will be no variety. It’ll be “run these shards for raid, run these for M+”.

This is a grind, a pointless one to add. They could have used that dungeon for any number of other things, like shove 405 gear tokens in there for catch-up for peeps, a mount, a toy, a pet, some transmog.

But no, they add to make it into a Power grind. Blizzard is so afraid to release content that’s just content for the sake of content. They always have to make it mandatory. It feels like they’re afraid the content itself is so bad, people won’t participate, so they make it so people absolutely HAVE TO participate.
