Top 3 strongest dps cooldowns

Abilities that come to my mind:

  1. Wake of ashes + wings ( paladin)
  2. Ascendence (shaman)
  3. Arcane surge (mage)

Honorable mention: demon form (DH)

Anything missing from here?

That druid spell where you cast a whole bunch of spells at once, that seems pretty OP.

For strongest DPS ability, I’d have to say engulf. Over 50 million damage from a single GCD when it crits is silly.

Shame that Dragonrage isn’t up there on the list because it only really kicks off in big AoE bursts while being ‘Okay’ for any other situation.

With the current stormbringer enhancement set bonuses? Oh man, it’s ridiculous! And so much fun!

I don’t play evoker much, but I find that cooldown very weird. I just don’t understand how to make proper use of it.

Arcane Surge just feels powerful. From the character casting animation to the light-show. Everythings glowing and exploding. It’s probably the most dramatic cooldown in the game.

Less flashy than most DPS cooldowns but people wouldnt be arguing over who gets Power Infusion if it werent really good.

crazy how you mention wake/wings as a strong cd

especially when theres alot of stronger ones like sins and subs cds

Deathmark isn’t super flashy so everyone forgets about it :cry:.

As mentioned its interuptable and good players or players with the right addons will interrupt it unless… You actually need to think about stuff before you cast it (your surroundings line of sights etc, distance from players (enemy and friendly) , players that will / can interupt it etc etc or even stuff like should I wait until Tree is active before i use it…

As with most Druid stuff, it requires a thought process, which is why Druid is the BEST class and most balanced in this game :slight_smile:

Yeah, but the OP didn’t say anything about pvp, it was just about dps CD’s :woman_shrugging:

Good point, my bad, i was just defending it as an ‘OP’ spell in the context of healing.
Probably would be ‘OP’ in PvE as a button smasher whenever its up i guess.
