Top 10 WoW Wish List

All right, they’ve finally done it: we’re getting player housing. Big thing checked off the list. But that’s not the only thing players have been asking for forever. Since we’re coming up on the holidays, here’s my wish list for things I feel should be in WoW.

  1. Blademasters–I don’t care at this point whether it’s a full class, spec, hero spec, or class skin…give me playable blademasters! While the little bits of transmog have been interesting and appreciated, it’s interesting to me that they’ve never had a blademaster themed tier set (say, for warriors), and that they haven’t fully committed to Arms warriors just being blademasters. To me, this leaves the very real possibility of something great. And do it big, either for a WoD or Legion Remix or something. I’d be all about a retcon that gives Blademasters their rightful place in WoW events. Or because the Burning Blade’s resurgence has been simmering for a minute, just add them in a legendary questline and don’t wait for an expansion feature. Such a wasted opportunity up to now!

  2. Worgen posture and tails–like orcs, male worgen could use a bit of a chiropractic adjustment. Give them the ability to stand up straight and a lot of armor would sit better, potentially even helms. It’d add to their presence, and fluidity of movement. Further still, give them tails already! I’m not sure why that hasn’t happened yet, but I really think that (optional) tails would really balance the current top-heavy models, especially males.

  3. Customizable frost wyrm–drake customization in Dragonflight was pretty amazing, but I think a glaring miss was the lack of an undead mount.

  4. Death Knight eye colors–While the Blue is a solid choice, having red, green, purple, and a fiery orange would still fit with lore and go great with transmogs. Not sure why this hasn’t happened yet, seems like one of the easier ones.

  5. Dracthyr Death Knights–I thought we were getting these (and Earthen DKs) when animations, etc. were on the 11.0.5 PTR, so it was disappointing when that turned out to not be the case. I hope they figure it out lore-wise, and give Bolvar (or someone) the power to make Death Knights again, because the idea of basically playing a small frost wyrm sounds super cool.

  6. Flame spec for Death Knights–Again, Bolvar’s creation may have been unique, but it’s still a precedent for them to have a flame spec for Death Knights. There’s plenty of fiery undead in the game, and Augmentation Evoker showed that they’re not against adding more specs.

  7. Rogue class mount ground animations–The ravens are really awesome (too bad there’s not a legit black one), but it’s weird to have them not be able to land and hop/run around.

  8. Void Paladin–There are shadow priests, so there can be shadow paladins. My hope is that they do this for Midnight.

  9. Moar Paladins, handle it!–Void elves, night elves, worgen, and dracthyr should be able to be paladins, and adding the previously mentioned void spec just makes sense. Midnight seems like it’ll be pretty edgy, so why not?

  10. San’layn–it was an evil, awful tease to add the prospect of playable San’layn to BfA, only to just kill them with explosives or whatever. Almost as pointless as wasting Blademaster Telaamon in a sacrifice play. Especially since the Venthyr didn’t become playable (makes sense), this is our best way to get playable vampires: add Darkfallen as an allied race.

If the game had all of the above, I’d be pretty thrilled…but I know there will be feelings about these.
