I’ve acknowledged that it’s always been this way. It just sucks after a while
Mists of Pandaria: Remix has more numbers randomly being generated…
To me we should have like 4-6 bullions a season, just so that you have some backup for when you start min maxing your toon. As it just simply sucks to be stuck with lower ilvl trinkets and ETC. due to blizzard putting them on very rare drop chances.
I think the RNG we have now is mostly okay, but there definitely needs to be a bridge for when you have those very rare item drops per season that bullions can solve.
Except your argument is blown up when you realize that there are people to this day who still have yet to see certain quests/items that have played every day since launch.
There are people missing the colors from the Grand Hunts even tho they have gotten a purple bag on multiple toons every week since launch.
RNG is too much when you have even daily players not completing a meta in two years.
And now theres more things than ever to do in the game than simply upgrade gear and do the 1 raid over and over.
Choosing to not engage with all the content and hyper fixate on only one aspect is not a Blizzard fault
Ok. And giving everyone quick and easy access to bis loot, while making old content still playable is a solution?
Who is this a solution for? Not the people chasing loot.
True, if you enjoy casual content. If you enjoy raiding your options are to play the current raid or wait for a fated season. I think you’re setting the bar too low.
Randomness has always been a part of WoW, but weighted random algorithms are something else.
Why would the raiders chasing loot want to do old raids they already did? Esp if they already have BIS loot.
Let me put it this way.
In D2 there is a PvEvP mode called Gambit. I despise it. Used to, to get all your gear upgrades for a week, you had to do all three playlists: pvp, pve, AND PvEvP.
Today however, you can choose to do all your upgrades in one mode.
Forcing players to engage in content they do not like is not a good way to maintain game health, and Blizzard knows this. The advent of world gearing and mythic + proves it.
This is a bad hyperbole and a bad faith argument. People doing meta who play every day damn near had it finished when Meta was announced. I barely do hunts and ive gotten all the colors. Theres no way theyve done a hunt every day for 2 years and missed one of six options
If the choices are to play repetitive content with a long treadmill vs. playing a variety of content with a shorter treadmill, I think the game would be better with the 2nd option.
Its RNG dude, of course its possible. Its also possible to play an entire campaign of DnD and always rolls less than 6.
RNG means anything can happen.
You can have current loot drop from older content if that older content was included as part of the season. M+ already does this
No one is forcing you to do anything. Weapons and trinkets that are BiS come from raids. I m+ and you dont see me making QQ threads about being forced to raid.
Why?
Why would people getting bored faster make the game less boring?
Because most normal people would rather have variety than play the exact same instance over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
Probability says this is false
Can, but wont, because computers cannot produce true RNG. Theyre still based on formulas which means it will happen.
Thats now how probabilities work, dude.
M+ participation shows this to be false
