Too much infinite power gated behind boring zone storylines

anyone else agree? really fun going from doing high keys, mythic raids into zone quests while fighting immense lag. way too much infinite power gated behidn this.

Totally agree, it’s a real slog. MoP remix was much better in this regard by encouraging raiding.

Agreed and I did loremaster of legion back when legion was current.

This time around you’re more focused on doing entire quests than raiding seems. Not sure what m+ offers as I havent set foot there yet but as far I can see the power is behind loremaster which can be a slog to finish.

Ton of infinite research is gated behind the other phases. Don’t grind if you don’t want to, just wait til more phases are out.

Not true. The infinite power from Emerging Memento only increased by 3K (100k to 103k)when my knowledge levelled up from 20 to 21.

Which ones are gated behind storylines? I thought they only gave the epoch thing for increasing xp gains. I got the infinite knowledge from the achievements where you only have to do 2/4 of them and just did dungeons followed by killing 5 rares and opening treasures.

The Nightfallen one I just got exalted with real easy, you get the 2000 rep insignias from every wq in heroic mode and I’ve been getting them from reward chests and treasures as well. Got exalted with Nightfallen before I had even unlocked withered training.

each zone has a lorerunner achieve which is campaign + side quests achieve in each zone. All give +1 Knowledge Point. that is obviously a lot.

It’s really not that bad since you can knock each storyline out pretty quickly. :man_shrugging: I really am failing to understand why people think that Legion Remix is a slog in any capacity.

I was trying to tell people that were rushing to 80 there was no reason to do that since you have to do the story campaign anyways

MOP remix did not even take 1% of amount of work to the amount of content we have received in Legion remix.

You should not be spamming dungeons.

Do your dailies.

Do your zone quests. Finish your campaigns.

Raise expierence gain.

Then do your daily dungeons and raids. It maximizes the artifact power.

Then you do daily heroics tiers.

It is a real nice system. They put in lot of work. In comparison to MOP remix where you were levelling a room every hour. For what ? So you can have your next 75th 80 level toon ?

I’d say too much infinite power is gated behind daily Mythic raids.

They really should just add all raid difficulties to raid finder queues in remix.

infinite power yeah. but a waste if you’re not getting as much knowledge as possible

they really should. way too much gatekeping oing on, getting declined to mythics at 620 ilvl cuz i didnt play the last 2 days…did all mythics on day 2 with 590 groups…like what.

They shouldn’t have such ridiculous differences in rewards between the modes - not like this stuff is being progged.

Meh.
I like how it’s being handled this time. Spamming the same Raids every day grew old really fast in MoP.

at this point we were already max gear in pandaria by just doing the raids every day. mop was goated

storyline is not boring. it’s actually really awesome.

By this point everyone was mad at the frog farm

whats this game without a timegate lol they shoulda kept the MOP remix way of doing things.

Or at the very least released each phase weekly. Stretching each one out over a two week period is kinda dumb.

A total of zero people were max gear in MoP remix this many days in from raiding. The only people at max gear this early were froggers.

They then nerfed frogging and improved daily quest rewards. It still took weeks to catch up in power to where froggers already were (not that you ever really caught up since they kept going up as well).
