Too Late for Retail?

Yup, it’s okay to at least acknowledge those with lesser intelligence, it gives them a sense of purpose.

That is exactly why I replied to you. Wanted to let lesser u know it’s time to stop.

I know its not what you meant but yes, it is too late for Refail WoW.

Retail is so bad Blizzard is trying to coax people out of Classic to come back, that alone speaks volumes.

I am not to cheap to buy it, i dont buy it because i simply did not enjoy the direction retail was going, it was not for me.
I did not buy WOD either for same reason
I did not buy Legion, again for same reason
Blizzard gave me WOD and Legion free, and i said thanks guys, do appreciate it, i did go look but it just isn’t working for me.

Blizzard said ok Dude! check this out, want to just play old WoW again? I said oh, yes please.

But thanks for letting me know it is actually cause i am too cheap, and here i thought it was normal to simply not buy something that you dont like

yeah you’re going to run out of things to do on retail unlike classic which has unlimited things to do like farm gold… do battle grounds and speedrun mc…

lots of content over here you guys are right :ok_hand:

You have plenty of time to start doing, here’s a short list of things you can do that you can’t do in classic:

  • Transmog
  • Pet Battles
  • Mount Farm
  • Rated BGs
  • Arenas
  • Normal, LFR, Heroic and Mythic raiding difficulties, you can choose what level you want to play.

You have a sub that gives you both, there is very little reason to hamstring yourself to playing only one. They are both great, I enjoy both but retail has a tonne more things to do.

Best suggestion is to ignore the malding classic die-hards who think it’s only possible to play one iteration, they are worried you’re going to leave and never come back.

yeah don’t listen to this guy, he hasn’t done any 8.2 content. Frankly his entire post was a disaster.

and for other types of audiences there’s also Mythic+ dungeons, achievement hunting, farming cool titles, doing all the questlines in whatever expansion you want if you’re into lore.

God there was actually so ltitle to do in retail I completely forgot about m+.

M+ is amazing if you’re a casual or the hardest of the hardcore.

yeah personally I much more prefer M+ to raiding because it’s easier to get together a group for it and there’s actually room to get to know people when it’s not 20-30 random players

M+ is the only saving grace of retail, shame BfA dungeons are complete garbage

ego hurt much? lowl

If retro-MMORPG Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen ever releases, I’m wondering if the WoW Classic (or TBC) PvE oriented base will dry up.
