Tone it down with the awakened order, please

I understand the desire to have one material be rarer to gatekeep the rare recipes behind it, but it shouldnt be required for consumables if that’s the case. Sooooo many recipes call for Order, and there’s already such a small quantity of sources of Order, at the least if we could not have it all getting eaten up by one-time-use items, that would be swell.

I knew I wasnt going to be making money when I picked up Engineering. I wanted the tinkers, but also to be able to bring the new raid convenience item that resurects on wipe. However, I also didnt expect to find out that my soulbound S.A.V.I.O.R. items would cost more money than the rest of my consumables AND repair bill combined each fight. It requires an awakened order, but so do its component pieces…Titans forbid that the raid group actually spends time raiding instead of running back after dying.

The whole awakened components is a huge slow down. They seem to be rather slow to gather and basically you need them for almost everything. I am really starting to regret that I haven’t dropped alchemy already.

Professions have reverted to the experiment they tried in WoD (Gasp I know, this expansion truly is becoming 2.0).

Back in WoD you HAD to get resources from other professions just to use your profession. Granted, most people didn’t really feel the brunt of it due to the garrisons having the internal mine and herb farm, but the requirement was still there. They got rid of this requirement in legion because of the overwhelming response of the requirement to level alts just to get those professions goods without having to pay unreasonable prices in the AH.

However, unlike true WoD, we do not have the garrisons. We dot not have the internal mine or herb farm. Not everyone can easily gather there needed materials. And to compound upon that, they make certain items like the awakened order a rare occurance to only drop from mining/herbalism. But, even given this rarity, are still requiring vast amounts of it for many professions.

We will see where this goes, but I highly see the next expansion that professions will once again be self-sufficient with only very rare patterns requiring cross-coordination.

Easy fix for that too, bigger bag size recipes like how tailors can make 32 slot bags for the crafting materials slot

Not on my server. Anything with Awakened Order, except for Azureweave Bolt is an instant loss, even at max rank. What’s worse is that anything without guaranteed max will be an instant loss since the rank 1 and 2’s are selling for hundreds or thousands less than the crafting cost.

Even Azureweave Bolts are barely profitable at anything below rank 3. Crafting costs are ~2800-3000 depending, rank 1 and 2 are currently selling for 2980. Only Rank 3 makes it even worth crafting.
