Yes, they have faded away, as their causes died one by one and this day drew nearer.
A few still here and there, always negative, always adversarial. Makes you wonder what their investment in Classic is, to stick around for so long.
They have been wrong for so long that they believe they are right.

Donât blame the people who used to post the Wall of No. Blame Blizzard for saying the things that made up the Wall of No, and then never ever bothering to correct any of their statements.
(And just a reminder: not everyone who posted the Wall was actually against Vanilla servers. But you just go on trying to shame people for believing in what Blizzard themselves had said repeatedly.)
Well, got to get moving. Iâve got Vanilla ice cream to make today, so as to be ready to have a dish of it at launch time tomorrow. Itâs a tried and true recipe which uses real vanilla.

But you can blame some of them, the ones who repeated it with malice and glee, the ones who came here and stayed here long after Blizzard corrected their own stance and the project began.
We will have them but only on Sunday 
To be fair, a lot of the âwallâ was from fansites, not Blizzard.
I do remember some of it bringing up some stuff Ghostcrawler said and I assume âyou think you do but you donâtâ.
But there were probably many forms, and different people digging around finding different things.
âWill beâ is kind of a misrepresentation donât you think? At least the guys supporting that did it pretty much with multiple capped threads on the old forums and a mega thread or two on these new ones.
We didnât spam the forums with our army of alts.
Edit:Now that everyone is hyped on the âSpirit of Vanillaâ maybe we should examine how guild banks are in the âspirit of Vanillaâ. Oh wait. We did. Multiple times. Itâs in the thread. Which is still here.
