I can’t say with accuracy any more but I’m pretty sure that back in Vanilla boxing would have been a ban-able offence. That being said though, when nodes were one use there wasn’t much call for boxing either.
Edit: I have been corrected.

It wasn’t.
It’s still an advantage over being a solo player.
Now try reading the whole EULA and do some actual research into multiboxing.
Fair enough. Too many years at this point.
I started boxing because I hit the 50 character cap, there was no call for me to do it prior to that point. Never gave it a moments thought until last year when I was around 43 120s
I can say for sure that at least simple 2 boxing with one system next to each other was supported. I did it. THe problem with trying to ban it is not because it makes money, it can force people to not play more than one system in one house.
I have used multiple systems and software on one system, but I never really made it my playstyle more than boosting or messing around.
Exploiting other players is an equally serious offense. Scamming, account sharing, win-trading, and anything else that may degrade the gaming experience for other players will receive harsh penalties.
This language right here would be the nail in the coffin in a court of law. Anything? Well multiboxing does degrade my experience.
I can definitely see why you would. After all grinding those gosh darned WQ’s and dailies are sodding tedious.
This is like complaining about people buying/selling carries. It just won’t get you anywhere.
The “anything” is up to the discretion of Blizzard
I’m going to have to delete that post aren’t I? But I hear ya. Beaupeep already corrected me.
No, it would be up to the discretion of a Judge, unless they change the language of the ToS.
I think it’s a weird gray area for wow
They’ve done so for so long, there needs to be some warning, as you’re taking away an aspect of the game a few people really love for the right reasons
Say they announce that it won’t be allowed after shadowlands, that would work, it would let passionate boxxers know to enjoy it’s last days
I do agree that multiboxxing is detrimental as it becomes easier to do, and does affect the larger playerbase negatively when it’s meta and widespread
Take it to court then if you’re so confident
Nah, I saw her response but it was after I typed mine. I am just slow
So confident. Remember, they also said Classic WoW would NEVER happen.
I don’t recall ever being affected by a multiboxer the past 13 years I’ve been playing.
So?
I put in an edit just to be safe. I think I’m done with this tired thread though. Sick of seeing these threads. Old hat, nothing new to discuss.
Well, other than prices being artificially deflated by the market being flooded by cheaply made matts from multiboxers.
