So does “unfair advantages” come up in the ToS.
No, I’m getting what my characters should be getting.
Mob dies, team Kaurmine loots 1g per character, 5g.
Rooted loots 1g
Everyone got 1g.
tos really don’t mean anything. They can change it, follow it, or ignore it how they see fit. The tos is for you not for them.
Been fun lads, but I gotta go off to a party now and get trashed
I’ll be back tomorrow to go to war with you all
Have fun! Seen you tomorrow broski
Yo, remember too, social distancing
Have a good one, be safe.
Do me a favour at least and use your multiboxing for good and go and farm some Alliance idiots
I expect to see a topic tomorrow about a boxer laying waste to an alliance hub somewhere
You have some weird disconnect going on here. Yeah the system works in a fair way. What you are missing is just simply put YOU (you can call it team or whatever you like) are paying more to get more.
It’s not a wrong argument though
Hello Brother, hru
It’s a good argument if you pretend that all 5 characters are different entities and not the same person.
Multiboxing software doesn’t automate anything more than your keyboard driver automates anything.
You press a single button and each character performs a single action in response to that button.
I get what you’re saying. If me and you are playing side by side in the same house and I’m multiboxing and you’re not. When we get up if someone says “How much gold did you guys make farming?” you’ll say 1g I’ll say 5g. I 100% get that, I’m not being a potato brain here but I’m playing more characters than you so I should get more than you. I don’t see why that’s unreasonable
It’s not unreasonable. What is unreasonable is denying that you made more gold than the other guy because you are paying more. That’s the main issue being discussed here that people keep trying to deflect from.
1 keypress goes to however many clients you have open and accounts you bought. You keep separating this character like you aren’t the one controlling a raid to earn and collect faster than everyone else.
despite what people might claim, multiboxing IS NOT against the TOS. yes the wording is a bit vague, and yes it could be interpreted that way, which is why blizz put out an official statement clarifying that boxing is fine and not subject to those guidelines.
Yes, it does give the person boxing an advantage, yes they are paying more money and getting that advantage, however since its a LEGAL advantage, according to blizz, its not an UNFAIR advantage in regards to the TOS.
now you as a player are welcome to think its unfair, I think that demon hunters are unfair, and they do have a distinct advantage in a lot of content. that does not however mean demon hunters are cheating, since they are playing within the rules of the game as established by blizz. and so are multiboxers.
you are welcome to complain about it all you want, gods know we get about a million posts per day about it, pick one to vent in. but until blizz officially changes their policy on them, the rules are the rules, and boxers are a perfectly legitimate playstyle, no matter what you may think.
KVM switches say hello. So again you are wrong.
What about people who can play more? They can make more gold than someone who can only play an hour a day.
