Can you get all items without paying in a reasonable amount of time?
Are the items people are “paying” for stronger than the items you can get without paying?
Y’all really watering down the definition of p2w.
GDKP is the best loot system in the game. Easy to manage. Straightforward. As drama free as you can get. Transferable. Makes gold farming really matter. Literally the only downside is that it is one step removed from pay to win. But instead of Blizzard fixing the RMT problem they blame the loot system. Anniversary appears to indicate that wasn’t the issue as RMT remains as rampant as ever.
If they introduce the WoW Token then anywhere there’s GDKP yeah it’s 100% a pay to win game at that point. But even without GDKP it’s still pay to win. GDKP really isn’t the problem but in combination with the WoW Token it would be pretty awful.
Wow Token + Pre-patch dropping soon… Gotta pump the Q4 numbers!!

More gold = more advantage.
For pugs this is 100% the situation most of the time. For guilds you can run any loot system long as the leadership is good.
Bad leadership will make any system terrible.

Blizzard sells a bigger P2W advantage directly from the shop for every single game mode, including era, than gold
More excited about full classic raid tier sets available for cash in the shop soon.
