It’s up to 5K on Bloodsails Buccaneers. Is it different on each server? This stinks man. Blizzard is not going to curb gold sellers at this ridiculous low value.

no its priced per region

Blizzard doesn’t set the price the community does.

That was never their intention.

Ive seen it fluctuate a lot just in 1 day. Seen it go from like 4900 to 5800 and then an hour or so later fall again to 5100.

$20 for 5k.

What a astronomical ripoff.
Tbc had cheaper gold. Lol

Yes the Tbc token, that mythical creature.

Blizz should charge the same rates as the Chinese sellers. Why rip off the customer?

Can’t tell if you’re purposefully being dumb or not

Well, if the “point” of the token is to prevent it. It should be similar to it.

We all know it’s just greed though

Can’t tell if you serious or not. Tokens work differently than the black market gold sellers that’s why it’s not comparable. And doing rmt yourself is not stopping rmt, it’s just taking your cut so it doesn’t change anything at the end.

No, it’s basically the same.
You swipe your credit card and receive gold farmed by somebody else

Gold is worth more than the token. Also most people don’t need the sub most have already brought theirs in advanced months ago. The game is going to last 8-10 more months before a lot of people quit the game entirely. I don’t see many people coming for cata one of the worst expansions ever. The token is a failure on blizzard why would anyone buy more game time after wotlk is done. Almost the entire player base came back for wotlk and will be long gone afterwards.

I’ve got 10 days left on my sub and I’ll be back for fresh/som2. They can keep HC and Cata. They failed wrath pretty bad, why even bother playing Cata+.

then why do you think the first token ever put on ah on day 1 was set to only 10,000 gold? when there was not a single other token? the base value for token was decided by blizzard to make 1$ = 500g.
after that? it’s supply and demand, but blizzard decided the base number to make the market work around it

“Note that few hours before token arrive 1$ could gets you almost 1k gold via black market” and here is a thing, Blizzard could have set the first token on ah to be 50k if they wanted but that would means “gold having low value” which lead to less sales for shop tokens.

Hmm pay $20 and get 5k gold, or pay $20 and get 20k gold. Decisions…Decisions

Someone made a website that tracks the prices too. Its nice to be able to see it on a graph. https://classic.wowtoken.app/
