It is just my opinion, not 100% guess . Since 27th was the promised day that official SL will be released, event can come today. What do you think?

hopefully, but I doubt it. I don’t think they are going to launch the prepatch event until they give us a release date.
speculation about the SL release date has (mostly) calmed down, which means they have a bit of breathing room now. releasing the prepatch event would just stoke the fire again and put more pressure on them to actually announce a date.
my completely unsubstantiated guess is still on a nov 24th or october 3rd release for SL, with prepatch event starting next week at the earliest. (but thats based 100% around the idea of them wanting at least 2 weeks of bug fixing once it goes live before they all take their december holidays)
Doubtful today is the Scourge day. I say mid-November

And I agree 1000% and people will not see SL till 2021 what month idk. Hence Blizzard trying desperately with these ingame gimmicks for people to buy a 6 months sub atm.

Personally, I just want some of the many, many bugs killed with both the squish and Chromie time.
Here is one I just found: If you are in Chromie Time for WoD, you get locked out of daily pet battles in Azeroth. Which makes no sense because they were there at the time. I dunget it.
