See here again if you are high enough on the totem pole there is a surprising amount you can get away with.

Sounds like DF is going to be the QoL expansion at launch, especially after some of the things implemented throughout SL.
This change doesn’t effect me, but I think it’s a good thing for the game and community. Smooth out those pain points.

Okay, so you stopped raiding before you got to see personal loot even introduced to the raiding scene. Regardless of these examples, you are still out of touch with the current raiding scene.
Legion allowed guilds to use masterloot OR personal loot and it prevented pugs from using masterloot at all. It was perfect. But you didn’t see that either.
When loot is tradeable now, it still goes to a masterloot system and it works totally fine.
Raid loot is nowhere near as valuable as it used to be. It’s thrown around like candy on Halloween. Most guilds don’t have any trial restrictions, no items are “reserved” in guilds, etc.
Guilds in this day and age understand far more about social constructs in game than they used to.

You mean the personal loot that was introduced during WoD Legion Era where I said I was still raiding? Yeah I stopped IN the first half of legion, I did some on and off during BFA and SL
How high on the totem pole do you think you’re going to get with only 5-10 core raiders getting gear and a rotating door of players coming in and leaving?

You provided information on Wrath era raids, where 15 people could clear raids with 10 monkeys hammer fisting their keyboards. Explain how this is applicable in today’s raiding scene? Viva la Group Loot.

if i get a rewart of quets , for esample , if i get a plate helmat , and i aint gonna use it i cant use it i am a mager , how come i cant give it to my frend if they out there wit me there near by i can do a swap so then can get glove helmat , then in a later quets , then can give megears . i kill 8 murloc for this quets how bout i can help my frend get this rewart ! 2021

What I want is for people to be able to organize things amongst themselves without penalty, without being able to leverage said organization to screw people in a targeted manner.
the opinions of people on the GD vs the opinions of people that are actually using these systems is always so funny.
Raiders are more angry about the amount of loot they CAN’T give away than the imaginary scenarios where loot will be taken from them and given to an e-girl, I promise
whether it’s “no restrictions personal loot” or master loot or whatever this group loot thing is, at the end of the day as soon as loot is tradeable, the guild decides where it goes and everyone is fine with it.
all this is going to do is remove how tedious it is to maneuver the loot around, or those weird scenarios where the loot gets mailed to the “personal loot” target and is no longer tradeable.

…so group loot, no restrictions. If you REALLY need the item, you can hammer that Need button and pray RNG favors you over the RL. GL finding a new raid, doe.

So it’s going to feel good to get a gun and a bow in a group with no hunter, and an agility polearm in groups that have a MM or BM hunter.
Has anything they have ever designed into the game to prevent things like stacking and split runs for world first raiders stopped those things from happening?
b-b-b-but the guild i joined (they sent me an unsolicited ginvite, so they must be really good!) ripped me off. i was going to quit but i love the memes they share in discord?? ?
