This is an RPG. Leveling your character is a fundamental feature of the game, one that is absolutely necessary to progress toward the ‘endgame’.
Blizzard’s stance on twinking has always been that it is a permitted but unsupported playstyle. The mistake they made, the one that needs to be corrected, is giving players the ability to disable XP gains.
Maybe you need to explain “the work” part to me? They turn off their XP to gain an unfair advantage … where is the work exactly?
I don’t even PVP. I’m looking at this from an objective, outside perspective.
The only people who seem to think Twinks add something to the game or, conversely, don’t make the game worse are Twinks. Must be something to that …
Twinking is a lot of work. Can’t argue that really. Enchants and gear typically isn’t cheap. Time and effort needed to run all available dungeons and get the drops you need. It is at least comparable to farming dungeons at the beginning of an expansion to get bis gear before the first raid drops. All that said, twinks are a niche group of players at best.
Edited for fat finger spelling mistakes.
Well go build up ur toon at Max lvl, screw the lvl lock stuff
Ahh i see, so you get to choose where people devote their time and energies. Good to know. Maybe you’d like to publish a list of what is acceptable time and effort and what isn’t?
