Yeah this is probably the safest way to do it. One raid is basically ZG level difficulty and the other closer to naxx. BiS sets should require at least a few items from both.
Everyone is happy.

Hell yes! Iâd be in there a lot!
I mean, your post kinda says Iâm right.
How about the same amount of gear, but also a title that only lasts for 1 week?

Theyâd probably have something to prevent their characters from logging off for a straight week so they could sit at the SW AH showing off how leet they are to the casual plebs.
Obviously not.
Yeah, I love watching goal posts being moved in real time.
This doesnât seem obvious or necessary to me. If people want harder content for the sake of harder content thatâs one thing, but incentivizing harder content by adding stronger gear will only make the player base feel forced to do said harder content.
nobody is forcing you to do anything ![]()
Max level gameplay is gear dependent, adding extra tiers to gearing kind of forces players to go after that gear or why play that game at max level?
Stronger gear also affects PvP, making those players feel forced to do PvE to be relevant for PvP.
There are other ways to get players to want to try a hard mode without holding a gear carrot stick in front of their face, and it could be enjoyable for the players who actually want to be there.
I thought people were looking for a challenge, but it seems some players just want an advantage ![]()
âForcesâ seems to be becoming a word like âliterally,â where its meaning is being lost. I think youâre right though that not many players today would consider completely raids in lower tier gear to be fun or rewarding when they can follow strats made by other people, and practice their own optimized rotations for parses.
The (quite old now) Raiding in blues project from a bygone era sort of showed that you donât need gear or special compositions to down bosses, but of course nobody is arguing that being able to brute force content by outgearing it isnât easier.
There are so many people playing this game, youâre probably right on both counts!

they could keep the first round of nerfs. and then they could nerf it at the end of phase to what it is now. so it can be considered a level up raid. but within 1-2 weeks when everyone has there set bonusâs it will be easier than dungeons as of now. if they do any hard mode or heroic raids add achievements or titles mounts cosmetics etc⌠even buff the gear by 10% and it wouldnt be be to much of a difference. and to all those saying that the gear should be the same are the same people that think a sport team that comes in last place should still get a trophy. its just wrong
they can have hard mode by going 7/10 which therefore drops 30% more loot per player
Might as well make use of the extremely good gear we receive from raids. The game as is way too easy and just seems pointless when thereâs nothing challenging
People would do it because a high parse on a heroic raid would be more flex comparing to a trivial raid
BTW that link doesnât really back up your point. They were doing the easiest raid content(10 man normals) and couldnât clear all the content.
would you be ok with that hard version, even if it gave the SAME gear as the easymode
Absolutely I would. It would be nice if you could toggle pre nerf HP values vs present. It doesnât even need more mechanics
I play this to chill but it would be nice if my brain had to be at least somewhat engaged
that link doesnât really back up your point.
Oh, I didnât even realize they went past Ulduar 10 lol. But I think the point came across fine, and the link and information at the end of it did a great job of exemplifying it.

Well itâs a case where both things are true, people will do content just to do it regardless of gear but you also will hit a hard roadblock eventually because of gear.
itâs a case where both things are true
Well yeah. That does seem to indeed be the case.
