So should we have the talent trees that were in part for TBC? I think talents became available for people before TBC actually launched.

Negative. Go and read full notes. There was a bunch of mechanics changes that we are not getting that where put in 1.12.
We are not getting “1.12” we are getting 1.11 with some 1.12 stuff and now Cross Realm BGs.
People don’t really know what 1.12 even was. They think it was vanilla. It was a structure patch for TBC prep.
