To people who refuse to do dungeons, even normal…why?

The nice thing about wow? YOU dont get to decide what content is is valid and what is not. You are just another player. In SL I have done a grand total of 1 LFR. I had absolutely no idea what was going on but I followed the group. I am sure gogogogo people would have been pulling their hair out at me but ce la vie.

Thank you for playing with us younger people. My siblings and I have met older people before here in Europe and they are really the best people to enjoy WoW with.

And didnt the OP call people out for playing solo??? That was the whole point of this thread.

Well, just a quick glance over your recent posts in this thread I was able to come up with the following:

And now quote me where I was the one crying about toxicity. I’ll 100% throw it back at you and I’m not even slightly apologetic. Don’t dish it if you can’t take it.

Nah, I was just returning your sad and pathetic jab… seems I offended your snowflake sense of entitlement and superiority.

Looking at your profile, it appears as though you’ve done… nothing. Like… nothing. All I saw was the “Keystone Conqueror” Achievement awarded for completing a single 10+ Mythic… So either you’re just some troll that is well, trolling… -or- you’re too cowardice to post on your main out of fear that someone might actually care what you say and make sure to never group with you?

Speculations and assumptions again, I know… but, what’s your damage here, bud?

I find it utterly amusing that you seem to want to attack me specifically for taking up for some of the people that have complained about the play-style that may be your new norm, and providing sound, reasonable suggestions on how to solve their problem. Had nothing to do with you, but apparently your desperate need for attention and feeling of self-importance got the best of you.

As for Muppet??? Really? There are so many other choice names that come to mind when I think about people that act like you, but hey-- it’s the forums, so I tried to keep it civilized.

How about this… go do something in the game. Get some Achievements, run some M+ Dungeons or some Raids. Nobody actually cares about your input on something that has nothing to do with you, especially since you just want to back the M+ ponies instead of trying to HELP a struggling player that genuinely has had their gaming experience ruined by people like you.

Have a nice day, Muppet.

Really? What makes you think that? Didn’t know calling someone out was being offended or a snowflake but based on your logic thus far I guess that checks.

And here I thought we would make it out of here without this tragically stupid argument…

I find it utterly amusing that you can’t follow a conversation. The part I took issue with was your blanket statements about the community. Do try to keep up.

Hey same here but some of us have the maturity not to fire those shots until fired upon.

Same chief. You got your list of people that need you to white knight for them. Bye Felicia.

And yet you seem to care a great deal as here you are, continuing to engage.

Same, mental midget.

If by “engage” you mean trying to see just how much I can make your little feelings hurt, then yeah… you’re right.

I’m definitely engaged in this conversation.

dungeons are so chill. pug raids are chill. lfr is chill. pvp is chill.
the game is chill. love it. cant imagine why people are afraid.

even m+… just do lower…

What, exactly, did you call me out on?

My willingness to help a player? You refer to this as “white knight”, but it’s literally called: Just being genuinely nice with no expectation of reward. Although, I guess I can see where you’d think that as I’m positive that type of behavior doesn’t track with you, nor would you understand it.

Here is a fun story that happened an hour ago.
Was leveling my second DK again, thought about this thread and went “meh, why not”.
So I get into this group with the absolute worst monk healer I have ever seen in my life.
This fool couldn’t even keep himself up, he kept dieing first. I would battle rez him, he’d be down again in a few minutes. The tank was also a Dk, and he rezzed him, and yep, down again.

Then after a couple wipes due to no healing what so ever, he says out of the blue " i need mana" :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Then we shrug this off as a joke, and we push on.
Then we wipe again, again no healing. He says “sorry, had to bathroom.”
Then we finally, somehow make it to the last boss and you guessed it, another wipe.
No heals yet again.
He says “sorry, had to get a charge cable”.
At this point, I’m like " I’m sorry, but I feel i’ve been plenty patient enough, I’m out."
Yes, I left at the last boss.
Won’t be running dungeons again anytime soon.

Then I hit 50, went to Oribos, looked at the choices for a frost DK (other DK is already necro), went BLEH. And left him standing at the table. Guess it’s time to pick another alt to get to 50.

Lmfao! Whatever makes you feel better but I guess you keep trying and I’ll let you know the second I feel hurt.

Omg your inability to follow even a simple thought thread through a conversation is astounding  I think we may be zeroing in on your problem here…

Fear of the unknown. How can anyone feel good about trying something new that requires the help of others when all they read on here is horror stories about behaviour that would get you punched in the face in real life?

Nah, once you started with running that mouth, I stopped paying that much attention and just started to hone in on the things you quoted me on.

Again, the fact that you are acting like a complete child does nothing but prove most everyone’s point…

That point is…

People like you ruin this game.

Did I already tell you to have a nice day?

If not, HANFD, Muppet.

I guess in addition to accusing people of being toxic while being toxic isn’t the only hypocrisy you seem intent on engaging in.

Funny, I was thinking the exact same about you…think about it when you get off that high horse of yours

Again, you too, mental midget.

Again, you started this… all because I offered to help another player while agreeing with them that the game had become a freakshow because of people that act like you are acting right now.

You must excuse my shock, because at the time I wasn’t aware that I’d have to defend myself for offering to help someone, nor was I aware that in agreeing with the statement that was made about the toxic dumpster fire this community has become that I would be offending YOU, specifically.

People such as yourself ruin this game for others. You see no fault in what you are doing, so naturally everyone else should just get over themselves. That’s the problem with people like you, you absolutley refuse to admit any fault in any bad situation that you create.

If I were inclined, I could provide links to THOUSANDS of posts where people have had their gameplay ruined due to the behavior we have discussed at length in this thread… but, let me refer you to just one post:

I find it funny that you want to say I’m the one being toxic in this little saga of demented ramblings of yours.

If toxic gameplay meant helping others and actually doing it for no other benefit than to just be a good person, then yeah… you’re right, I’m toxic as can be. Want to know why I help people? You never know their story… there could be any number of reasons why they need help- mental impairment, physical impairment, time commitment, real life, whatever… it really doesn’t matter, nor is it anyone’s business…

BUT, if my “White Knighting” ← (gonna keep using this term now, not gonna lie)
helps them in any way, then that could have made what was a bad day for them better. Maybe they loot some gear that makes their solo progression quicker and easier. Maybe they change their mind about how rude people are and give another group a chance before uninstalling the game entirely.

That is what I get out of it.

Stop being a toxic POS. (Person of Shadowlands) :kissing_heart:
If the ballerina slippers fit, put 'em on and lace 'em up, Sunshine.

Arthritis in hands gets sometimes real bad and I have to stop playing so not fair to other people. So I do only thing that I can do alone.

Again, you show your astounding lack of reading comprehension.

I feel exactly the same about you. You have this whole savior complex going on and it has clearly blinded you to what my original point even was. You also see nothing wrong with starting off your whole rant about other players by making blanket generalizations and throwing out passive aggressive insults, all while thinking youre fooling anyone with your whole “im just the good guy trying to help out” routine.

You would as you think you are speaking from a moral high ground and have thus not concerned yourself with your own behavior. In your mind I deserve it so you find no fault or hypocrisy.

And once again, you don’t know me. I help people all the time, but unlike you I don’t have some pathetic need to puff my chest about it. You seem to get off on it. So much so that you missed my point entirely and rolled over playing victim.

Yeah. What kind of fool expects a RPG experience from a (multiplayer) RPG? I bet the same kind of people who go to the grocery store to buy groceries.

Thanks for the wise insight, Rotospin.

Indeed, hand or arm mobility issues can really be a problem when doing group content, esp with strangers. Having to stop mid run is fine when you are alone, but not ideal with groups.

I get that myself.

At this point you are both just engaging in a personal battle that is not constructive and is risking derailing the actual topic.

Maybe BOTH put each other on Ignore and take a walk? Consider this the last word on it instead of having to one up each other?
