To everybody asking to have LFR removed

You constantly misrepresent SO MUCH STUFF when you make these horrible arguments.

WildStar did not ignore their casuals. The game was just not developed enough nor did it have the funding to survive the rushed and buggy launch to allow it to get to a viable form.

Day 1 Vanilla WoW would not survive today if it had WildStar’s funding, but it had the money to keep going.

TheLazyPeon on Twitter: “Remember WildStar? Would you revisit or try that MMORPG if it was still around today?” / Twitter

Lazy Peon made a tweet today asking if people would revisit WildStar, and all of the positive responses to it are highlighting very casual focused things like

the Story
the world
the transmog
the customization
and the unmatched player housing.

Do you think this feature and video was aimed at hardcores?

Look at what people could do in it

Wildstar AMAZING Player Made and Customized House (Wildstar Housing Gameplay) - YouTube

it was an amazing, casual focused feature. Probably the best housing in any MMORPG ever made.

Do you think this customization was for hardcore players?

Just admit you didn’t play the game lmao

The problem is that it didn’t have the backing of a major franchise to survive a bumpy launch, but NCSoft rushed it out anyway. Why don’t you ever mention all the other MMORPG’s with heavy casual focused MMORPG’s that also died in a similar timespan?

Your other problem is misrepresenting who the casual players actually are. The actual casual players that “pay the bills” are not the ones on the forum starting a war, racking up tens of thousands of posts instead of playing the game. The real casuals that pay the bills are the ones that don’t have a care in the world about your petty battles and log on when they can, play a bit, and log off totally unbothered or unaware that you are representing them in your personal fight.

You assume that is the reason why we don’t do normals or higher, that’s your assumption of why other people do or don’t do things.

Many of us don’t sit and play for hours on end, we have responsibilities that paramount a game. Also, some people have no interest in being top geared and “hardcore”, we just want a more relaxed style and that threatens you, somehow. Why do you care how I play?

Why do you feel a need to protest a play system set forth for non “hardcore” people? Don’t tell me why I “refuse” to play your way, and then put some responsibility on me that isn’t rational.

You sound very immature and insecure. How about just playing the way you play and stop trying to influence how other people play?

Are you always this verbally abusive to anyone that has diverse viewpoints?

Verbally abusive?

Its being abusive to have the opinion that I like when some rewards require a little more effort?

Its being abusive to not want to hear complaining from people unwilling to put that effort in for a specific reward they want?

Geeze.

Edit: Also its not my job to influence how others play the game, its Blizzard’s job. And they are doing a fine job in my honest opinion. If you want the slime cat mount, you do normal. End of discussion. I could care less how you play the game.

I still just don’t understand how there are people acting like you can’t have a job and do 3 normal raids one time over the next 4 months

one dude said household chores prevent him from being able to ffs.

what planet are you guys on lmao

Bigger question is: why do you care?

Care about what?

Says the guy upset over a play style.

‘Casuals’ have been the most insufferable people on these forums. Jesus Christ

You’re just not getting this. They want to remove a part of the game because they don’t like it. Not for any rational reasons. People who play this method are defending it.

bro your whole page is just fighting some battles against “hardcore WoW players” and you’re acting like you aren’t just as toxic as the people you’ve made up to argue against lmao

who is “they?”

go find them and report back.

here’s a tip: hardcore WoW players don’t do normal and they don’t care whether or not you do.

Now there’s the tolerance!

A lot of people don’t want to join a guild and spend hours just trying to get a raid together, or putting up with guild BS. LFR lets people who don’t want to do all that at least see the raid content and cutscenes (yes I know they just show the cutscenes to you now once the raid is cleared).

Its all just excuses because of various reasons.

The reason I suspect is they have some sort of mental block, or vendetta against actually having to interact with other people and coordinate to overcome obstacles.

It could be because of laziness, incompetence, entitlement, instant gratification attitude, etc. Maybe its a combination of those things. And when pressed and asked what it is, they mask the real reason with “I don’t have time to do xyz activity in the game”, YET they have full 252 cypher gear, have millions of mounts and collections that take HOURS and HOURS to get. Farming Zerith Mortis day in and day out is one of the most tedious and time consuming activities. Rare hunting can take a couple hours each day to get all the cypher knowledge necessary to upgrade your cypher gear.

The bottom line, if it isn’t something they can click a button, be automatically transported inside the instance, have fail-safe buffs (determination) that guarantee success, have the ability to not have to say a word to people, they don’t want to participate. Its sad really.

So, you go do a history bash to get your point across? You’re just a troll, and I’m done feeding you.

I would rather they make LFR a storymode with npcs so queues aren’t a problem and so you can get it done quick and that it wasn’t much part of the gear loop like it was in WoD.

Current LFR design doesn’t really serve anyone well, it’s raiding made for people that don’t like raiding.

It only adds an extra step between normal. Making it harder for people to get into raiding imo.

why is this important to anyone? you don’t need to post this lmao. just don’t respond?

i asked you a question. You didn’t answer.
