You constantly misrepresent SO MUCH STUFF when you make these horrible arguments.
WildStar did not ignore their casuals. The game was just not developed enough nor did it have the funding to survive the rushed and buggy launch to allow it to get to a viable form.
Day 1 Vanilla WoW would not survive today if it had WildStar’s funding, but it had the money to keep going.
Lazy Peon made a tweet today asking if people would revisit WildStar, and all of the positive responses to it are highlighting very casual focused things like
the Story
the world
the transmog
the customization
and the unmatched player housing.
Do you think this feature and video was aimed at hardcores?

it was an amazing, casual focused feature. Probably the best housing in any MMORPG ever made.

Just admit you didn’t play the game lmao
The problem is that it didn’t have the backing of a major franchise to survive a bumpy launch, but NCSoft rushed it out anyway. Why don’t you ever mention all the other MMORPG’s with heavy casual focused MMORPG’s that also died in a similar timespan?
Your other problem is misrepresenting who the casual players actually are. The actual casual players that “pay the bills” are not the ones on the forum starting a war, racking up tens of thousands of posts instead of playing the game. The real casuals that pay the bills are the ones that don’t have a care in the world about your petty battles and log on when they can, play a bit, and log off totally unbothered or unaware that you are representing them in your personal fight.
