In this particular case it looks like the termination for cause is likely due to a violation of an employment contract of some description, as it looks like Netflix poached him from Activision. Neumann was still new to Activision Blizzard as he came in from Disney in May 2017 (the same time as Amrita Ahuja was sent over to be CFO of Blizzard Entertainment). Either way Neumann gets his 9.46 million and a new job, but if I recall correctly (and I am not disposed of being corrected here) but wasn’t Neumann the one who sent Amrita Ahuja over from Activision?
