To all those who DONT want dual spec

a handful of people you mean. going thru many of the i want this added DS threads. each one has around 6-9 people that say i want this… more people saying no than yes… there is even more people that say i don’t care. more than i want lol

There are cons for dual-spec too, you just wouldn’t accept because, * ahem *, you are in favor of it.

There’s a difference. I said “for all we know” implying we don’t know anything.

You said “you know why X isn’t happening?”

Acting as if you know it all.

I would think this is pretty common sense and I wouldn’t have to explain this but I guess I’m not really surprised lol

The only potential con is how people rapidly switching specs might impact things, and that’s debatable as to being a problem or not. And I’m willing to bet most people who want dual spec would also be fine with a cool down on it.

Well I know how I would implement dual spec. It really just depends on how many other changes are required to support the change as to how long it would take. The actual change wouldn’t take long. Storing the specs, adding restrictions to when it can change, adding an unlock, I am sure there are more I am not thinking of.

All that said, I don’t think difficulty or time is why it hasn’t been implemented. It is likely just not a priority ATM.

To all those people who don’t want War Glaives in the cash shop, just don’t buy them, it literally won’t effect you at all.

Am I doing it right?

No because you can’t tell the difference between buying gear and buying a 2nd spec.

It’s the same thing, you want something that isn’t in the game. So do I.

Your argument is that if I just don’t use it, then it won’t impact my gameplay.

Well it’s the same for the Warglaives in the cash shop, just don’t buy them bro, stop gatekeeping me.

If you don’t want LFR, just don’t queue, let others queue for it. It doesn’t affect you.

thats the spirit.

Exactly.

Just add all the retail features to the game, if you don’t like them then just don’t use them.

How would pet battles and Mythic+ dungeons hurt the TBC experience REALLY?

I would love to see 20+ Shattered Halls on time.

You can already change specs with the CD of farming up to 50g to change specs.

Which is about 20 minutes of dailies once P2 dailies come out.

So, the good news is whatbyou want is already in game, it uses gold based CDs.

I really dont care either way, but I think dual spec is one of the QOL changes they added that was actually a really good change. Really opened up characters for people and was a win for everyone.

Most importantly it allows more healers and tanks to enter the playing field and reduce wait times for content. When you allow your Tanks and Healers to have two specs a whole new world opens up.

I agree, let’s add mythic+ and the rewards from. Them.

If you don’t like then you can just not do it!

Except history shows dual spec did nothing for the tank and healer shortage in the long run, this has already been explained.

People might try it, but it quickly turns into having a pvp spec instead 99% of the time.

It doesn’t matter how many times you explain something that isn’t true. People aren’t obligated to believe your misinformation.

Considering only 15-20% of the community even PvPs at all, I’m not so sure about that. And even if it was 99% people changing to a pvp spec, most the time that will be a DPS spec, and allow them to use their main spec for healing/tanking.

Either way, it works out.

I’m not subbed and can still post here me thinks you should check these things before you speak…

You are confusing helps the tank/heal shortage with completely fixes it.

Caster gear drops
Healer rolls need
“Sorry my MS is shadow, I just heal for group invites”

Sounds like it’ll affect me.
