The issue you are having is you think everybody is stupid but you. You think nobody else is capable of forming their own opinion based on their own experiences, and simply adopt the opinions of people who don’t like the game. You think that everybody would be deliriously happy with the expansion and the game in general if they were kept completely ignorant about current conditions, especially compared to how it has been in the past. They wouldn’t know any better, therefore they’d love it and feel it to be rewarding no matter how many dungeons they run in a row with no gear.
Nobody is “baiting”, except maybe you. Since you think everybody else is dumb as a board, how is it you’re so special that you aren’t also? Who spoonfed you your opinion, if that’s how people get opinions?
Actually, you are wrong. The number of players doesn’t even come close to what it was during WotLK. I guess all the people that quit were the majority.

I do love the game, but this expac is bad…worse than bad. WoD was bad, this is shaping up to be worse.
I’m on the forums today in between warframe missions. Know why I’m not on WoW? Because it feels empty and unrewarding. I only log on for callings and a single weekly m+ anymore. When I hit exalted with most of the reps I probably won’t even do that.
People defending this game must have a agender with it. Whether been Blizzard employee’s, streamers or anyone making money of this game while it’s surviving. Hence all the rubbish and putting down people that loved this game once leaving cause it’s a absolute disgrace atm and doing it’s best to bleed people dry. Well people ARE NOT STUPID and are seeing exactly what Blizzard and their mates are doing.
The echo chamber is THIS vocal minority here in GD. There was literally a big thread on the main WoW reddit that warned new players of even visiting here because of the toxic nature of all the haterade going on.

I don’t Blizzard doesn’t get a RED CENT OUT OF ME I pay by gold and never ever buy crap from their store. For all I care I hope Blizzard can go jump. I didn’t get to own my own home or have the materials things I have in rl sitting pretty now cause I wasted money on a stupid company. You can’t continue to sell a game that you are also offering refunds to. The PS4 version was a disaster. It will be sold again, but not until the bugs are ironed out.
It’s been the same systems since Legion, things are just renamed or moved to a different spot. They are doing nothing new, just making this game more and more like Diablo. The only thing they added were more buttons to push.
BFA was by far the worst expansion, and SL has the potential to be up there with BFA.
Glad you’re enjoying it, but a lot of people are not. The communities and friendships are the only thing holding everything together.
