Titanforging and Warforging make me upset

The better question is: Why do you keep lying and pretending that people who do easy content get the same rewards as people that do difficult content? Where’s this mythical person who is geared to mythic raiding or even heroic raiding who only does warfronts and world quests? They don’t exist. You’re just being hyperbolic to such a degree that it undermines your own position.

Shocker, someone else who pushes a dishonest narrative to win an argument. lul

It’s not that drastic, but in my guild we do casual heroic raids on Sundays. Everyone in the guild is welcome even if they aren’t on the mythic team. By the end of Uldir, some who consistently came to Heroic and did M+ with us were just as geared or even more geared than some of our Mythic team.

Anecdotal evidence is anecdotal. And you intentionally didn’t provide an example of someone who didn’t raid who was as geared as different tiers of raiders. Like you’ve been arguing about with Amine. Hell, you were explicitly looking for the opinion of someone who didn’t raid, then you turned around and used an example of people in your own guild who do raid, who you carry and gear, who also do mythic+ who are allegedly equal geared to people who raid mythic with you. Lul.

Here - so you understand after all. There are people like me and probably a number of them who play a lot in that boring trivial content and don’t unsub unlike you guys.

And raiding does not fuel the economy. People like me do because I spend more of my time doing professions and supply people like me who want gear to get into warfronts fast or make their wq a bit easier to do with ilvl 340 gear.

So do you buy hundreds of gems per expac? Do you buy thousands of potions? Flasks? Buff scrolls? etc? You know all the raid stuff? Doubt it.

Here you go man. This guy is in my guild as a super casual. He doesn’t raid, doesn’t PvP, hasn’t done over a +6 key, and he’s 392 ilvl which is a higher ilvl than my guild was when we downed Heroic Jaina for the first time.

People who spend a lot of time doing non raid content have often been close to being geared at the same level as heroic raiders. I was in MoP as well because all my gear was upgraded and I did the world bosses. We didn’t have titanforging in MoP either.

The blue asked earlier in the thread shouldn’t someone who plays for 20 hours a week be able to get the equivalent of someone who just comes on to raid and plays for 4 hours.

He has mythic plus 10 gear… two pieces in fact.

If you buy Azerite gear from the vendor it shows as +10. I looked as his armory and it said the highest was +6.

He has mythic 10 gear on lol. He has mythic raid achievement for Champion of the Light. And why should we care what his ilvl is now compared to what your ilvl was when you defeated Heroic Jaina? That content is almost 4 weeks old. Again, where’s this magical person who doesn’t raid who only does warfronts and emissary quests and is comparably geared to a heroic raider. Try again.

Edit: Deerrrrpp! Look at his bracers. Holy craft you’re daft. I didn’t know bracers were azerite gear!?!?!?!?!? /facepalm

those are probably from the weekly chest. Probably bought a carry, they are like 100k on my server so not too bad.

It’s cool. Backpedal some more, it’s entertaining to watch.

I mean do you consider this guy a heroic raider or M+ spammer?

The highest completed in time maybe. You still get gear if you don’t complete them in time.

He has a cloak and bracers that are mythic 10.

So he did 1 +10 which he probably bought or at the very least it wasn’t his key because the highest he’s done in time is a 6. Does that change anything?

This guy earned his gear.

Amount of Mythic 2+ Dungeons completed in time: 17
Amount of Mythic 5+ Dungeons completed in time: 15
Amount of Mythic 10+ Dungeons completed in time: 2
Amount of Mythic 15+ Dungeons completed in time: 1

WoW progress counts dungeons from Legion. There are people on there with 5000 M+ completed which isn’t even possible at this point in BFA.

I get your point OP. Life is short though. Don’t waste it on being mad. Waste it on being glad.:nerd_face::nerd_face:

So let me jump right to what you’re fishing for and explain why it’s dumb.

Is he? He’s been in at least one mythic raid kill. He’s been doing content that’s been available since mid Dec meant to catch us up to BD raid level that didn’t even come out til ~Jan 22 and that the moment it did the ilvl was increased another 15 (darkshore warfront and world boss). His ilvl is expected for someone who has farmed the available content. I’d say the average non-raider who’s done just solo stuff should be around 390ish right now if they hit up invasions and all that content. He’s in that range. But he’s been carried through some raid/M+ content to boot which, as noted, has increased his ilvl.

So is he a heroic raider? The question is stupid because anyone who’s been farming heroic is going to be higher ilvl than him even though he’s been carried a bit through mythic BD and M+. What ilvl are the people who killed heroic Jaina right now? Because if you’re included in that you’re 11 ilvl higher than him. Why do you think comparing someone now to what ilvl you claim other people were weeks ago is a valid comparison? And that’s predicated upon us taking you at your word about the ilvl they were at, and we have no reason to do that because you demonstrated you’re willing to be hyperbolic and lie to make a point.

Edit: Let me say here, I almost have every class at 120. Still a few I’m missing. I have 4 alts that are in that ballpark (between 385-390). And that isn’t counting the character I do mythics on or the character I raid on, which are different toons. So being at ~390 ilvl doing warfronts and invasions alone isn’t exactly a shocking.

So why would anyone do Normal BoD if you can get better gear by doing easy world content and warfronts?
