Speaking of that. I would love to hear your opinion on how Titanforging is a better progression system for non raiders than the progression systems of BC/Wrath/Cata.

So you think itās not better that what we have I guess since you canāt come up with anything. So you do agree we should remove Titanforging and go back to when gear progression was great. Finally, we agree on something!

You are the one that is trying to compare things to a game that is ancient history and not relevant today. Sorry, but you canāt compare oranges to apples and decide why one system is better for apples but not oranges.

Also how can you know that Titanforging is a great gear progression system if you donāt have anything to compare it to?
You know the advantages and the purposes of this system has been explained numerous times already. If you canāt accept them then no amount of repeating them is going to help.
And in response to this.
No, not everyoneās complains are their own personal problems. But when you set yourself a goal which in your mind is unobtainable, it makes no sense not to just set a more realistic one for yourself if that is what drives your happiness.
I collect mounts and pets. If I say to myself I have to have every mount in the game and some of them are extremely hard to get, I donāt ask blizzard to adjust the game so I can get them, I just ask myself if the time and effort is worth it. If it isnāt, if I will make myself unhappy in the process I just say, nah I am not going to do that.

Thatās called a strawman. Itās where you make up things in your head to argue with that the person youāre debating with didnāt actually say. Which is funny because he explicitly stated that forging wasnāt a progression system. Itās built on top of a progression system to give a small chance to get better than baseline progression rewards. Progression is the same as itās always been, lfr -> normal -> heroic -> mythic, and since legion M+, and pvp seems to have a decent item progression too though Iām not a fan of duel in a box so Iāll leave that to pvpāers to approve of or complain about.

Except thatās not what he said. He was talking broadly about the positions of a specific person. I quoted explicitly what you said and you very clearly tried to claim he made a point he did not make. I didnāt snip out anything, all the context is there.

I donāt understand whatās wrong with my question either. Iāve never been a non raider, so Iām just trying to get someoneās perspective of why these players think this system is better. The only answers Iāve gotten are that I look like a fool and that itās not relevant lol. Why doesnāt he or you just explain why itās a superior system?

Because your question is stupid. Youāre asking about forging, which is not a progression system, and asking if itās superior to a progression system from previous expansion. They arenāt comparable because they donāt serve the same function. The question doesnāt have an answer because itās not rational.
