I understand the appeal for WF/TF for blizzard it increases replayability for lower content. But the frustration that comes from Mythic raiders is that people get better gear from LFR frequently. I think the solution to this would be that gear can TF up to the next gear level or AKA 15 item levels. So then the next tier up raider will have the opportunity to be in better gear than the lower tier.
ITT: Blue poster that is out of touch with the communityā¦Move along just another normal expectation -_-
I donāt think so. Iām elated that heās interacting with us this much.
Replying specifically to this, as someone who enjoys raiding, if itās personal loot, then I should be allowed to give it away to anyone I want to, regardless of ilvl. Itās my loot, let me make my group stronger because my tank wants crit/vers and I donāt.
Perhaps, but heās made it abundantly clear heās paying attention, hasnāt he?
Blasphemyā¦Letās get this clear difficulty in content is ones own opinion. Basically you are saying other content except for Raiding is less and the skill it take to accomplish is some how inferior. More than a few people our not onboard with this type of thinking. You are not superior to anyone else just because you raid.
Very vagueā¦
To be fair Zyanya, why does someone who doesnāt PvE or PvP need 400 item level gear?
weeklies/warfronts/etc should reward normal tier gear and anything under a 10 key should be capped at normal ilvl,11+ can go up to heroic etc.
mythic ilvl should only come from mythic raiding, there has to be a carrot for top end raiding, thatās where the sense of progression comes from
re-unlocking tiers of azerite traits isnāt progression and neither is getting a 425 weapon from doing a warfront.
The amount of skill required to clear a battlefront, world quest, and island expeditions is non-existent. It is near-literal faceroll content that has a chance of losing so small even a toddler could do it. It is like tying your shoes. I donāt care if you spend 24/7 tying shoes for a living. You are markedly less skilled than someone who spends even 1 minute doing brain surgery.
To make us feel not so inferior. Is that so hard to understand.
Tada you get it. Ages all ages play this game. Get over the superior factor and move on~
There are statistics that back up what is actually difficult. I donāt care what someone individually finds difficult. Itās about the relative difficulty within the community versus something else within the community.
But why does inferiority matter if you donāt even care to do the content.
Gameplay experience is being made meager at the expense of making you feel as good as someone who deserves to be good.
No. Superior factor is what I play this game for, and itās how life works, and how this game worked when I liked it best (and when it had the most players). So, how about you get over your āeveryone deserves thingsā mentality instead.
I got a 420 Grong trinket which is pure hot garbage for Fury (worse than multiple 385 trinkets), but was a huge upgrade for the Ret Pally and UH DK in our raid. Couldnāt trade it because A) it TFd far higher than anything I already had and B) you guys for no good reason whatsoever decided to take out Master Loot for organized raiding.
Itās actually shocking over the last couple years how many terrible decisions this company has made. But the addition of TFing and then the removal of Master Loot are two of the absolute worst. This company is FAR too stubborn to admit that though so weāre going to be stuck with it forever.
You guys say you are open to dialogue on these things. But you arenāt, at all. Nothing we say will ever result in a change, you guys didnāt even listen to the thousands of people giving class feedback in BFA beta telling you how terrible most classes feel, why would we ever be expected to believe you again that you actually want dialogue and feedback from us?
Why does higher gear make you feel inferior, If you arnt playing with other players to begin with. Your play style doesnāt require higher ilvls it actually benefits you to have lower ilvls on some world quests. You canāt get upset someone earns their doctorate when you refuse to do the work to earn your own.
Why do you feel you need to do all of the content? You can do the content that you enjoy and you will get rewarded for it. Yes, there are other avenues to gear up and it makes sense to do a bunch of them if you are pushing content, but how come itās not optional based on your play style/time? There can be long gaps where I donāt do any PvP and could be missing out on gear but that only affects me if Iām trying to squeeze out every item level - I prefer to just focus on things I want to do with the time I have.
Couldnāt agree moreā¦ I got the pleasure of running a mythic0 earlier this week and seeing a 415 ilvl drop for a group member. Good for him but seems a tadā¦too much?
Anyone who thinks getting procs like that keep this āfunā may have lost touch.
