It was literally something that was made to cheer up the community during bad times. Take your free tenders and save, or your free cosmetics and stop complaining. Why does every good deed that’s done for the community just turn into something else to complain about?
the trading post beat up my potatoes.
The trading post is alright in my book…although I’m still not grabbing the sparkle pony when it comes back. I’d sooner grab and ride a dragon made of stars than some sparkle pony made of stars. I wanna see void themed items all the same like a void theme of that hood and cloak with matching shoulder drapes… I wanna look as evil as I make this gal seem at times lol
Trading post isn’t inherently bad, but the costs of things are ridiculous compared to what we gain. Not being able to buy everything is ok, but a mount requiring 80% of your total potential tender income is absurdly limiting.
Where are people complaining? I never seen it.
So its like rent irl. lol
You do realise that Blizzard could give everyone a free month’s subscription and somebody would complain that it wasn’t two months. ![]()
Because forums are for complaining.
And everybody will have a problem with something, because nothing is or can be perfect.
You could do everything right and still bomb super hard, still gather detractors, still become a social pariah, et cetera.
I mean being able to criticize something is only normal, some people take it too far, some just are giving feedback, the usual. It’s not like the majority are angry upset, but also being able to criticize something shouldn’t be looped in automatically into ‘complaining for nothing’ bin
But its all free…It really is complaining for nothing.
Firstly, we still pay our monthly sub, sorry for being pedantic I suppose, but that ain’t free.
Secondly, even if it is that does not absolve it from being criticized fairly, why would it?
And it’s not.
But it’d be wrong to say it’s not complaining therefore, hence.
If you’re a collector, you can’t collector binge.
If you’re not a collector, limited points still limit your options.
If you don’t give two craps, 800 points for a mount is still ridiculous.
It’s a good idea and it can still be. All Blizz needs to do is be reasonable about it. Some price adjustments would be a good start.
They could cure cancer and the next day the forum would be full of posts accusing them of being pro heart disease.
im here to complain about my free month. WHY IS IT NOT THREE MONTHS!
If the trading post never existed, would you still pay a monthly sub to play? Most wow players were already subbed, a monthly sub has no bearing in a tenders dispute.
I didnt know why it suddenly appeared, i figured it was some kind of log in reward (which it greatly resembles) and as such leaves something to be desired.
It does remind me of the FF loyalty rewards they have.
The point was it doesn’t matter wether its free or not, it’s not free from being able to be criticized ![]()
Prices are wild, but people are definitely being ridiculous with their hate.
It’s essentially free stuff for doing dailies and doing content you’d most likely be doing anyway.
Like majority of the time, I am finished with the trading post within a few days of its refresh just doing my weekly runs and stuff lol.
My main complaint is I wish there were more recolors, but I can’t really be mad at ‘free’ mounts, toys and mog.
