Tired of rescuing souls in the Maw

Sounds like you’re burnt out, I get what you mean. The patch has just gone on too long, I’m feeling it too.

I haven’t un-subbed, but my playtime has definitely decreased a good chunk. Nothing wrong with that, there are many good games (or even other activities) to enjoy while we wait for 9.1.

I’m currently playing through The Witcher series, which have been sitting in my Steam library for years untouched.

3 of about 150… Yes, I’m impulsive.

Yeah, I agree. You save souls from Torghast, don’t see why you couldn’t get credit there. Suppose you wouldn’t be able to in The Soul Forges if you choose to complete bindings but everywhere else you are just freeing them same as in the Maw.

If that’s too generous they could at least make that one soul you have a cast time to rescue give you a bigger reward~ Still not sure why he has a cast (I save him anyway sometimes… I feel like no one else ever bothers with him so he’s probably pretty sad if he could actually feel emotion, you know?)

I agree. I’m not really sure why killing things in open world SL zones can’t just give us our weekly souls?

Something something lore.

But it would be a bit more intuitive and a bit less soulless grind hehe. With seven characters it’s already a burnout for me.

hey it could be worse…they could waste like a lot more time than going between 2 stones over and over

How’s your rep with Ve’nari?
I hadn’t bothered with that for months. Now I am, and so I have something “new” to do.

I’d argue that while you may do casual content you are most definitely not a casual player.

you can try an actual endgame instead of just time sinks

dont grind for this game it’s not worth your time

For whatever it’s worth, I salute you.

I don’t understand people who choose not to do all the content of a game complain that there’s no content foe them to do.

I don’t understand the people who do content they don’t like and then complain about it.

Just. Don’t. Do. It.

It’s pretty f’in simple.
I haven’t done the souls quest in months. I haven’t upgraded my sanctum. Half the time I don’t even finish the 1000 anima quest.
Am I missing anything? Maybe, I haven’t really noticed, and all this stuff will be thrown in the trash the next xpac and we will probably never come back to the shadow lands.

Well there is an issue with that, I was as truck driver for 15 years, over 2 million miles traveled, every State except Alaska (yes, even Hawaii) and 5 provinces of Canada.
Does it have lot lizards knocking on my door at 3am and waking me up? Or pissbottles everywhere and crackheads trying to sell to me at rest areas? Or arriving to load only having to wait 16 hours at the shipper because their forklift is down? That’s the real fun part of truck driving.

I do find it ironic our ‘reward’ for higher renown is having to stay even longer in the maw to get more souls. From a RP perspective I get it, more souls saved from literal wow hell. But as a player I’m like 'can I just grab 5 and call it a day?" especially when you’re capped at souls.

You’re still saving souls in the Maw? Wow…

Gotta get that 2 million anima somehow, right? Right…?
/sigh

Take it easy. Let those souls rot :joy:. Do something you like more, whether it’s a dungeon, older content or hanging out in Oribos.

Mostly it’s playing Heroes of the Storm now.
I’m really bad at Mei, I think I’ll torture people in QM by playing her more. Their hatred fuels me to play even worse.

Last match I slid under the entire enemy team, then launched my big snowball the wrong direction and missed all 5 of them. It was fantastic.

It’s easy enough, but after you’re renown capped the 58g reward isn’t much of an incentive when I make 1500-2000g from other callings.
