They don’t have access to tier any earlier than normal or heroic raiders or even Mythic+.
Well i mean they just dont like poof and get it, they work for it
Literally millions of adults organize their other hobbies. But somehow wow is special and impossible to organize…
These people will be in shock when they learn organized adult clubs and sports exist as well.
They even schedule activities weekly!!
Mythic raiders get the best (by far) gear, the best looking appearances, earliest tier sets, etc.
Uh… yeah… because they’re doing the highest tier. ![]()
Why is such an obscene amount of development time
How do you know how much development time is spent on that compared to Heroic boss mechanics and others?
What’s not going to happen is getting rewarded similar gear for kicking 12 fish back in the river, petting 12 sheep, placing fishing nets once a day, or being told how exceptional you and your drake are for running a race everyday.
No one asked for this.
WoW is a game that has always been led by the top players.
I think the vast majority are long gone but the system still works.
Everyone just copies the “better” players in this game, emulating our piers is how the game works.
Progression raiders are the “better” players, taking away their only incentive will bring the game to a grinding halt for everyone.
Mythic raiders get the best (by far) gear
As it should be.
because that is what the best of the best work for and that is what the best of the best deserve.
why arent you also trying to become the best of the best?
If the “best of the best” constitute a minority of what pays the bills…
They even schedule activities weekly!!
I worked for Adidas for many years. They had soccer, bowling, golf, softball, basketball leagues, gym memberships and a dozen or so other activities. Almost every league was full of people with spouses, kids and obviously jobs.
I don’t understand how people think playing in a twice a week basketball league for 2 hours is any different than raiding.

It’s called getting a schedule and being organised.

Whoa there sir, you’re just spouting off some nonsense now!

Why is such an obscene amount of development time spent on boss difficulties that almost noone sees let alone kills by the end of a tier?
IIRC Mythic raids actually consume a comparatively minor amount of dev time relative to the raid (IE: Normal, Heroic) itself.
How do you know how much development time is spent on that compared to Heroic boss mechanics and others?

Mythic raiders get the best (by far) gear, the best looking appearances, earliest tier sets, etc.
It’s not even about the challenge, some people just don’t enjoy wiping to the same boss mechanics 300 times until an entire raid group is on the same page.
Why is such an obscene amount of development time spent on boss difficulties that almost noone sees let alone kills by the end of a tier?
Ok, here’s my impression of OP:
Professional basketball players get the most money for playing basketball, the best cars, best houses, etc.
It’s not even about basketball, some people just don’t enjoy training tirelessly to play basketball with an entire team on the same page.
Why is such an obscene amount of time and money shown to them while I play basketball in my driveway?
Well, that’s been my impression of OP. Hope you all liked it.
LOL!!! Best reply today. ![]()

Yeah pretty much.
Golf, bowling, and softball leagues are all extremely popular for adults.
Then book (aka drinking) clubs, etc.

While I agree with the sentiment,
I’ll never understand people who spend their leisure time with their co-workers.
I played on our golf league this past summer and hated it.
Then book (aka drinking) clubs
I tried a “book” club once. It was all about the crappy wine. I left.
If I’m gonna sit around and listen to a bunch of people gossip about the neighborhood, it better be with a good gin or bourbon!

It REALLY depends on your co-workers for sure.
I was in a work golf league for a while and it was really fun.
But I’ve worked in a few places where I didn’t even want to be around them at work let alone after work!

Haha.
My wife was in a book club in our old neighborhood and it was exactly that.
Wine drinking and gossip/venting.
