I hope you can understand that a profession isn’t a class.
But you haven’t given me much hope.
Classes are those things at the bottom you select when you make your character.
Let me break it down like math for you.
If…
Hunter = 1
Engineering =2
tinker = 3
AND
1+2=3
Then hunter + engineer = tinker
10-0, game set and match
Let me break it down for you.
Hunter + Engineering abilities
Hunter Abilities 
Blingtron
A portable transmog
A 5 minute cooldown Bolas
Tinker Abilites 
So… It’s not a Tinker.
It’s a Hunter.
Because the class you selected is Hunter.

Tbh. I just Wanna Tank in a Mech suit.
Give me a big, clunky robot to tank in.
And explosive ordinance to back it up.
And If the mech dies, I want to pop out as the pilot, and be a squishy intelligence user that dies in one hit.

Tinker is an interesting concept as a class but that name is just terrible.

Mech Jockey.
Anything other than Tinker.
I say tinker because it’s recognizable.
I like “Artificer” but that in my mind conjures up more magical engineering imagery than steampunk/mechanical.

I think Artificer is fine
but it’s a little more specific.
We do have artificers in WoW. But they’re Draenei mech mechanics and they also build there spaceships.
There’s also Blood elf Artificers who stole Draenei technology
It aint like it hurts you or anything.
Tell Blizzard to make the class already. That would shut us up.
