I got a few alts I wanted to gear but at this rate I’ll just run regular heroics the gear is better .
Is the timewalking raid ilvl gear up to par with the fated raids?

TW gear drops have been scaling really poorly for a while now.
Not sure the exact reason they did it, but a SL Heroic gives much higher gear.

Can you read? Heroics drop 246 the items from the dungeons drop 236 and the items you can buy with badges are 187…. At that point it’s better to just gear a new alt through heroics .

The vendor badge-gear in Legion Dalaran is grossly underlevelled.
But the weapons sure do look nice.

Just leveling dungeons more, or less nowadays. The vendor items are pretty much worthless to lol. Xp you get from them is better, than Shadowfail dungeons at least.
There was a point in time where it was heroic quality, but now, its vendor trash.
The raids are a different story, as they drop normal raid quality gear, usually with a chance to socket on any piece still.

It should drop 278 now.

Tw dungeons are due for an overhaul imo. Add more mounts, toys, etc to the vendor, or make the crap drops you get from them a little better. Outside of maybe upgrading looms, the warped badges are useless now.

im sure im doing it for the quest item which is well worth it imho atleast blizzard finally gotten something right imho this expansion.
