Timewalking difficulty increase - continuing to be out of touch

but even with the buffs, the timewalking dungeons are only that long if yall are doing 0 damage

theyre like 15 mins top

its just a design failure to allow a form of content be less than 5 mins because people abuse scaling and twink characters

You can’t do this anymore because the mobs scale up to your level. So BiS gear is just whatever you’re wearing from the newest expansion.

Myself, like the thousands of other people, do not complete timewalking bc we care at all about the content. We really dont. Thats the reality. It doesnt matter what xpac, or dungeon, we just want to get it done, fast, really fast, for the reward at the end bc we have other things to accomplish before raid that week.
We dont want “experience the content,” we dont care about the content. The fact that blizz continues to recycle old content over and over again is becoming extremely annoying and frankly we want to see new, authentic content and never touch the old stuff again.
Blizz puts too much value in their recycled garbo. We really, really dont care about the content. Just let us get it done so we can get back to our real lives.

Everytime they implement buffs to timewalking to make it take longer or be harder, participation plummets

At the same time, what lead to this note is people asking for them to give players the chance to actually cast spells and use abilities.

Not have you walk up to an already dead mob from a level 11 twink or geared level 80 player.

And again I will say, when this change goes live timewalking participation will plummet as it always does when they do this stuff and people playing timetalking for that purpose will sit in extremely long queues and then spend 30 minutes in 1 dungeon. Every single time.

But if it’s still going to be the fastest way to level, have the weekly raid item box, and have a mount reward for the next event coming up, I expect participation to barely change.

I just see the Blizzard invests dev resources into timewalk, despite that here is nothing that needs to be fixed, instead of doing important stuff like fixing tank spec balancing.

They should make better decisions on what is important for the playerbase, and what is nice to have or does not need a change at all.

Right the priorities of what is being address and left unaddressed doesn’t make sense to me.

Is TW that pressing of an issue to address compared to class balance, fixing bugs, leveling/scaling adjustments, etc ?

Participation doesn’t mean it’s in a good state. Anything that is overly rewarding has high participation.

Absolutely nobody I know actually wants the Timewalking dungeons to be as fun little reminders of the past. People use these dungeons to be more ‘authentic’.

resources are used for different things

dungeon design people arent the same as class design people and your a fool to think it is. also most players who tlak about tank “imbalancing” usually dont know what they want from the devs. barely no one talks about brew and bear, but those specs arnt balance issues, its a design issue.

after testing out these timewalkings, i once again feel like people are overexaggerating the change. i find 0 difference, they still take somewhat longer but not by any notable amount. bosses still fall over and you can still pull entire rooms without a issue

I disagree., I and I know alot of people in my guild loathe them. The gear from the chest isnt worth how boring the content. People don’t even wait for everyone to log zone in. They just start pulling and move on.

Participation is down because the content is boring and the weekly chest is garbage.
