Is there a time or times of the day where one faction wins more bgs’ then the other? Lately i have been playing later on at night and horde get destroyed by alliance. I notice horde do a little better during the day.
I have no data to prove it but anecdotally I find Alliance dominates during the day, but Horde takes over late at night.
I assume you’re talking about random battlegrounds.
I play prime time only on weekdays and any time weekends. It seems like Alliance dominates no matter what.
Perhaps late night is different, I have no idea there.
Very late at night, after midnight, I feel like Alliance is drastically better (no premades I recognize either side.) I’ve noticed I get a lot of people Horde side at those times are not engaging at all. I had an Ashran where maybe a quarter of my team didn’t engage at all. Or IoC cannons will get filled in the keep and nobody shoots.
When Mists of Pandaria was current content it seemed like Horde would win most games, time of day was irrelevant. It was true for me as a Dawnbringer server player at the time both before and after I faction changed. Played as Alliance, would primarily lose BGs, joined Horde and almost exclusively won BGs. I didn’t increase my personal effectiveness overnight with some race changes, but life was good at the time as Horde.
After a 6 year break I came back from near the end of BFA until now, and it seems balanced, whatever team has the most chad players making great plays(possibly on discord with other queue syncers) is likely to win.
What faction you the individual play as matters far less than what team has the majority of pre-mades in a given match.
That’s funny, I do find this to be true as well.
Alliance wins at all times. Only way Horde wins is if an Alliance premade tanks a group by leaving group because they didn’t get enough of their community members in to meet their satisfaction.
DJL plays 8-11, AVM starts around 9. AVA is smaller, not sure of their hours.

Was horde back in that time and beside AV, and 1 other that I can’t remember, Horde had a 60 to 75% win rate on all BG. Their was a website tracking that stats back in those days.
Now, on the annecdotical side, I’D say Horde win AB and Ashran like, always and lose the rest.
On a topic like this you should specify either epic BGs or regular BGs. They can be vastly different experience based on faction and which premades are running.
For regular randoms Horde seems to do quite well late in the day and the early morning hours (when I queue). If you are solo queue then it’s a roll of the dice either way but at least you have a better fighting chance against a premade in regs compared to epics.
That would match my recent experiences. I did quite a lot of randoms over the long weekend in between other queues, and I just never saw really good Horde teams unless I got a wild hair up my rear and stayed up past my bedtime.
Yep, I have no statistics to back you up either but I totally agree with your perception haha
