Heroic raid loot is too much for these.
I just do one for the tokens. The normal raid piece is not worth the time investment even for an alt.
Yeah the whole point of timewalking was for the badges to get the mounts and toys, and maybe some transmog. I don’t think it needs the raid cache at all, frankly.

The only people that really benefit from running TW dungeons are leveling alts. But you can’t accept the quest that gives you the chest until you are 120. If you are a fresh 120, you don’t really want to run TW dungeons because half of that loot is useless (neck/cloak/no azerite). It just a waste of time honestly.
That’s funny. My interpretation of your problem is… you’re being over-rewarded by the other content… Not that the TWing cache is under-rewarding…
You’re getting normal mode raid quality loot by running dungeons that are… literally from prior expansions. Maybe accept that you’ve out-geared that content.

There will always be those that are incompetent and or too lazy to actually put in the time/effort to require a reward, BFA is their expansion. I just hope the rumors are true in SL and they severely reduce the amount of loot people acquire and up the difficulty because this expansion has been a stain and embarrassment compared to any other time, legion was very easy to gear as well but not nearly as bad as this.

Weapons and trinkets are hard to come by otherwise especially.
Did you buy your carries? Or, did your guild carry you on their farm runs? … Because it’s literally the only way you can get 460 in three weeks with “barely any effort”. And please don’t try and argue that. There is no way a fresh 120 is going to be heroic raid ready without getting majorly carried (and one piece of gear from heroic darkshore doesn’t count as 460 geared)
But my point is, this isn’t an option for everyone.
Reasons for doing timewalking:
- Fresh 120 gear.
- Leveling an alt.
- Nostalgia.
- Didn’t see the content the first time around.
- Timewalking badges for toys/pets/mounts/rep tokens.
- Transmog.
- You’re the type of player that just doesn’t do content if you can’t solo it or queue for it.
You seem to be under the impression that all content must have relevant rewards for all players, and that isn’t the case. That’s the kind of attitude that got us essences, where you have to do PvP, solo grinds, mythic dungeons, and island expeditions just to get a base level of viability, despite the fact that most players are going to despise one or more of those.
If you don’t feel you get rewarded for Timewalking then don’t do it, plenty of others will.

Its not litteraly the only way lol. I did get carried, twice as you’ll see.
Week 1:
Came back, had 395 ilvl.
Did assaults, got cloak ect ect. That put me to 405.
Did a few heriocs / WQs, got to 410.
Banged out Mythics, most of them was mythic week got that chest Herioc Warfront, WB, LFR 435.
Got friends to give me a 15 carry 438.
Week 2:
More WQ, M+ chest (475 wep), Conquest Wep, 440.
Pugged normal nya, got a 5 mask carry from friends. 448.
Did a few 6-10 keys increasing through the week (pugged), and a 14 key (was mine pugged the group), pugged herioc Raden only 454.
Week 3:
Mythic + chest Did full 9/12 herioc pugged used all 5 coins got aotc, got 4 pieces and 3 bonused, Did my own 3 mask, Warfront again 10, 11, 12, 13 key (one of each). That was this week, and I am currently 468 maxed depending what gear I wear, with a 15 cloak, 94 neck.
Its not hard you just have to you know, play the game lol. The carries got me 3 pieces of gear total.
All this talk of “gearing is too easy” I have never had problems gearing. Gearing in this game has always been easy. Its called PLAYING the game.
So I own a small business, I play 8-14 hours a day everyday. X 3 weeks 21 days, at average 10 hours a day, thats 210 hours, ofc I should have gear…
I have 3 geared classic toons too. The newest one, which is full BIS was after me and some friends moved to a new server starting fresh. Was full BIS in a little over a month.
It has never been hard to gear in this game, EVER. Your delusional if you think otherwise, been playing since BC and after playing the “Hardcore” grind of classic and I just have to LOL, as someone who spends alot of time playing KR PVP MMOs as well as wow, you people do not have a clue what the word grind means… Also found it funny, as all the classic players use to say IDK the grind as of starting late BC, and how they were wearing blues the whole game ect.
They left out that those blues were BIS… litteraly half the gear in classic you will wear for the entirety is blue and World Drops ect, the raids do not have the best gear for most slots, crafting and WDs are BIS. Weapons, are the most changed piece and really the only true reason to Raid at all in classic from a every class perspective, everyone needs raid weps, thats about it, unless you get a leggo or benny for priest.
