Time Rift Vendor Items Missing

Ok. Thats why I said unless its been done before. Because im surprised that would work. But if it does, it does.

Send Paracausal Flakes to your Warlock and buy with him/her.

The item no longer exists on the vendor to buy once you’ve learned the appearance.

Makes sense if you’ve bought it before, to have it removed from the vendor. Maybe a separate vendor specifically added for what you’re trying to do - as long as devs believe it’s acceptable - would work for this. I think a rework of the Felgard glyph or the ability to xmog the Felguard’s equipment might be a better solution. I’d second Scuzz’ idea on opening a ticket and see what type of response you get.

This definitely would be a better idea, and I have NO idea why it hasn’t already been implemented. It only makes sense - why would Warlocks have melee weapons in their bags, unless they go out of their way to farm them? Just let us use our acquired appearances.

And I did put in a ticket. Hopefully they’ll at least return the item so I can have it on my Warlock.

I wouldn’t count on it. I tried to get them to give me an un-upgraded version of the Sarkaeth staff (in exchange for my higher ilvl one) because upgrading it removed the xmog, and they wouldn’t do it. I doubt they’ll return items consumed like this.

The fact that the Glyph only works for weapons in your bags adds a level of controlled randomness to it. If you just chose your Felguard’s weapons at the barbershop, or something like that, then you wouldn’t be able to cycle through your four favorite weapons, if that’s what you prefer.

Fair enough, so why not two glyphs? One that randomly cycles (either through inventory or appearances), and one that just lets you transmog their weapon?

You’re only other option is to run the event and try for a drop though I don’t know if the mogs will drop for you if you already learned the appearances. I bought all the weapons for my lock and can’t remember if they’ve ever dropped for me again.

Time Rifts will never drop cosmetics you already learned.

Buy yourself a cheapie two handed weapon (axe, hammer, sword, whatever) and transmog it into the Fel-Ridden Divider. Throw that in your bag and it SHOULD work with the glyph. Maybe.
Edit: I’m an IDIOT.
You can’t mog the axe because you can’t HOLD it.

Get BoA (heirloom) axe, have axe-enabled alt mog it, send to warlock?

I actually replied to this one - I did try this. The heirloom lost its transmog skin once my Warlock got it. :frowning: So far my ticket was answered by the useless automated system, gave me links to forums and whatnot. Waiting on a real response now.

OP, I have the Fel-Ridden Divider in my backpack currently.

What is stopping your lock from gathering some flakes and getting it off the vendor? Will it not show up for another character once one has added to appearances?

Nope, my Warrior can’t use the mog because it’s not in the list, another character is going to have to “use” the item before the mog is available to my other toons.

Now, is that ideal? No, surely not, but fair.

There’s a 2H on the trading post that I thought would be cool for my lock so I bought it, instead of putting the item, which is clearly marked with “right click to use” in the trading post window, in my bag, it auto added it to my appearances. Now I can’t get that weapon, unless I obtain some other reskin or the mogging of it to another known appearance. I posted about it about a month ago but was just shrugged off.

The system needs to be consistent at the least.

I obtain cosmetics from a variety of sources, yet some are auto added to appearances and some are left for me to make a decision on….

I even have the Time Slicer or whatever that 2h sword is from the rifts, fully upgraded of course so muh FG can do his best!
